And you are not just a voice actor; you're also an inventor. Would you be interested in sharing your venture as the man behind Seavac - and by extension, Seapply? (1/2)
Martin T. Sherman:
My interest is in sustainability and marine systems have alway been attractive to me in service of that goal for a number of reasons. Seavac, was my first company and it was devoted to my first big project, the Tidal Irrigation and Electrical System. This concept energy island uses a tidal barrage in conjunction with and Ocean Thermal Energy conversion plant to make a sustainable aquaculture, power and drinking water.

The lagoon of tidal barrage is envisioned primarily as that of a coral atoll. The energy, food and thermal cooling could provide a haven for humans and wildlife like coral. However, there must be very careful management of the system because deep ocean water, which provides the cool side of the thermodynamic exchange, and the phosphorus and nitrates for the primary producers in the aquaculture, also contains a lot of dissolved carbon and carbon dioxide. It remains as a possibility.
