Heading to Camelback Ranch-Glendale? Here's everything you need to know to see the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox play.

It's that time of the year again! Spring training ramps up in the Valley.

PHOENIX — Baseball fans, the time is almost upon us: spring training season!

The Valley is a great place to spend spring training. There are 10 ballparks in the Cactus League, all within an hour's drive of one another. 

Here’s a look at what’s happening at Camelback Ranch-Glendale this season.

Who plays at Camelback Ranch-Glendale? 

The Los Angeles Dodgers and The Chicago White Sox spring training home is Camelback Ranch-Glendale. 

History of Camelback Ranch-Glendale 

Camelback Ranch-Glendale is on land owned by Glendale but is within the city limits of Phoenix. The ballpark was once considered the largest spring training stadium in the country when it was built in 2009.

  • February 20: Cubs vs. Dodgers at 1:05 pm
  • February 23: Padres vs. Dodgers at 1:05 pm
  • February 24: Rangers vs. White Sox at 1:05 pm

Arizona sports 

The city of Phoenix is home to four major professional sports league teams; The NFL's Arizona Cardinals, NBA's Phoenix Suns, WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury and MLB's Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Cardinals have made State Farm Stadium in Glendale their home turf and the Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix is home to both the Suns and the Mercury. The Indoor Football League’s Arizona Rattlers play at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale. 

Phoenix also has a soccer team with the USL's Phoenix Rising FC, who play at Phoenix Rising FC Stadium in Phoenix. 

The Valley hosts multiple major sporting events on a yearly basis, including college football's Fiesta Bowl and Guaranteed Rate Bowl; the PGA Tour’s highest-attended event, the WM Phoenix Open; NASCAR events each spring and fall, including Championship Weekend in November; and Cactus League Spring Training for 15 Major League Baseball franchises.

PHOENIX — The Arizona Diamondbacks find themselves a couple of games out of the final playoff spot in the National League.

With a key series against the San Francisco Giants about to begin Monday night, the D-backs are offering $15 tickets to help fill Chase Field.

Dubbed the "Pennant Chase Fever" tickets, the $15 price includes fees and seats are available for lower-level bleacher and bullpen tickets as well as upper-level tickets.

This offer is available during the series against the Giants and interested fans can buy tickets at dbacks.com/tickets or 602-462-4600.

Arizona has a 24-17 record over the last six weeks, which is the third-best in the National League since Aug. 1.
