It was NOT 3:20 pm! I know this because I was in my car listening to the radio, and the current show was about to go off and change to Hannity, who comes on at 3. And the announcer said "we have to get off the air because it's almost time for the end, but we have just gotten word that someone has been shot, and it's bad. We don't have any other details." I got a sick feeling in my stomach and I thought it was going to be President Trump. Finding out it was Charlie didn't make me feel any better.

There is no cure for those that don’t understand right from wrong. Killing a person in the youth of his life, with a wife a young children is insane. To add to this, celebrating something as heartbreaking as this, just because someone expresses an opinion you don’t want to hear, is bizarre and totally shocking. Since when does disagreement justify killing? This is wrong on every level. The saddest part is that the opposing parties don’t see or understand this simple concept. Anyone with an ounce of logic must see this. It is a senseless loss of life of a great man. Those celebrating now will see this one day and experience the heartbreak but 100 fold more intense. As numerous people on this thread have pointed out the ambulance wasn’t readily available, why? Why carry Charlie to the back of an SUV when an ambulance with trained staff is present? I don’t know that it would have made a difference, if he was hit in the carotid artery or jugular artery he would have bled out quickly. But EMS would have applied pressure, as best possible, initiated IV lines pumping fluid into him, contacted the hospital to notify of their impending arrival and have an OR suite and vascular surgeon ready and waiting. Again, more than likely he would not have survived, it was a catastrophic wound. Maybe his team panicked, thought they could take care of him. I’m sure there will be plenty of conspiracy theories in the coming days. RIP Charlie Kirk, prayers to his family and friends.
