日産が厳しい状況に置かれている中でもE26キャラバンの新車販売が比較的好調な理由はよく言われている盗難対策の他に200系ハイエースの新車が欲しいが、最近のトヨタお得意の"トヨタ殿様商売"でハイエースの新車を買いたくても買えない客が続々とキャラバンに流れているのも大きいのかも

業績悪化でリストラに走った日産に関しては販売側は普通乗用車の売れ筋であるコンパクトミニバン(シエンタ・フリード)やスーパーハイトコンパクト(ソリオ・ルーミー)の日産版を求めているが、「電気で時代を突っ走れ」が公約の日産上層部は開発にGOサインを出さない状況になっている話を聞いた事がある

ロッキー&ライズが一連のダイハツ衝突実験不正問題で生産停止に追い込まれ、トール3兄弟とプロボックスが突然受注停止となった今、スズキはトール3兄弟の競合車であるソリオとロッキー&ライズの競合車であるクロスビーの販売に、日産はプロボックスの競合車であるADの販売に力を入れるべきだと思う

エルグランドは14年間も一切FMCしない上に技術的進歩が一切無い状況だからアルファードとヴェルファイアに販売台数を大差をつけられて「令和の走るシーラカンス」「ミニバン版初代デボネア」「芙蓉グループ(日産・日立・みずほ銀行・サッポロビールなど)の幹部専用車」と化したんだろ
