We lost Booker today.
We went to a pit bull rescue 7 years ago to find a bull breed. Booker was a puppy that was brought in just to see if he could find a home. HE chose US. He walked right over and started licking my son Roen right on his nose (Roen was just a baby then).

Trauma dumping is absolutely a thing. Is that what you did? It is absolutely not. A short "sorry for your loss, hope things get better" would have been fine. But to single you out and make a bad situation worse? I'm sorry you had to deal with that.

Dig the sentiment but you can still care about your craft and not get angry after losing.
I used to get super angry when I would perform badly. But lately it's much more about analyzing, learning, etc. Just accepting that losing is the first step in that process of learning.
