I generally don’t engage with this kind of thing anymore, but I felt the need to address this because of how misleading and disingenuous your presentation is, particularly the implication that my thoughts on Charlie Kirk lack sincerity.
Several of the posts you've included are being taken completely out of context. For example, the middle post isn’t me calling Trump supporters racist. It was a direct response to Talib Kweli, who accused me of "running with Trump supporting racists"—his words, not mine. You can see the original post here: x.com/EricDJuly/stat. In fact, multiple posts in your thread stem from that same back-and-forth with Talib.
This is exactly your screenshots are cropped or lack proper context. Anyone who follows me knows full well I’ve never been some pro–George Floyd activist or someone who broadly paints Trump supporters as racists.
That said, my criticism of Trump has always been consistent and principled, whether it’s on economic policy or his stance on gun control. It was because I've felt him to be too leftist (not conservative). That hasn’t changed, and it certainly doesn’t invalidate anything I’ve said recently.
More importantly, Charlie Kirk knew all of this about me from the very first time we met back in 2016. He never took my positions personally. On the contrary, he was respectful, generous, and even gave me a bunch of merch that I wore proudly. And as time went on, even when I publicly criticized some of his political stances, he remained cordial and never once treated me with hostility.
So if anything, your post unintentionally proves my point: even in disagreement, Charlie was a decent and respectful person.
