As many have also similarly said, Twitter is a space I'm effectively forced to 'exist' on as a way for people to find me. But that doesn't mean I have to contribute to the whims of its owner. Starting tonight, I'm following EVERYONE I can elsewhere, & making my new posts there.

If you want to make an AI video out of my voice without my permission (which is always), I know I can’t stop you and that trying will only make it worse. Instead, I’ll simply note it so that if I *EVER* lose work/clients because of it I can use the info to sue you into oblivion.

Futaba voice actress @ericalindbeck has deleted her Twitter account after running a harassing campaign over a dumb but harmless Futaba AI cover video I would have understand her and side with her if the original video was monetized but it wasn't

Please remember that MiHoYo is the publisher, *not* the recording studio we work through. They may be just as unaware of this issue as the rest of you were, and the hope is that they can be MADE aware of how it’s affecting their image - and through subsequent actions, correct it.

THIS. THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS. One of the biggest turnoffs for me from live theater in my younger years was seeing an incredibly obvious bias towards "people who look good who ALSO can act". VO was an escape from that. EXCEPT NOW IT'S HAPPENING ALL OVER AGAIN, in bits & pieces

Voice actors used to be expected to voice act. Now they’re expected to promote, live tweet, stream, travel to do panels, etc. They are turning you into a product. And the more you become a product, the less you’ll see not-conventionally-attractive people invited to the table. x.com/GabeKunda/stat…
