People see these FBI posters promising $100,000 rewards for info on Charlie Kirk’s murder and think it is a payday waiting to happen. The truth is, most of the time you will never see that money. The FBI only pays if your tip directly leads to an arrest and conviction, and they decide if it counts. They can split the reward or deny it altogether. And if you are wrong, you put yourself at risk for nothing. There have been cases where fast food workers or everyday citizens gave the tip that caught a suspect, and they never got the payout. It is not because they did the wrong thing, it is because the rules are stacked so the Bureau keeps control. So before anyone risks their safety thinking they are cashing in on a six figure reward, understand this: you are probably not getting paid. It is not about morality. It is about whether it is worth putting yourself on the line for a reward that almost never comes.
