My thoughts about this game
Hello, I think this game have potential and I really haved fun while played. So I wanna leave some feedback or at least give some rant about game. (Hope devs at least sometime check this forum xD)

AI
Current AI is super dumb and break any difficulty this game have. They always staying still whem shooting at you. I get it why they do this, but come on its super boring.
Add hidden personality/role (just like in Starsector) to each ai what will depent on their tank mobility/gun type/armor value and of course mission type.
For example scout cars and light tanks should utilize their speed and try to aggressively flank and get as close as they can to you, also allow at least them to shoot while moving. Rocket artillery and Tank hunters must probably maintain some distans from player and try to snipe them. Heavys should always use their huge frontal armor and block player from attacking more vulnerable tanks.
Boss btw is for some reason likes to attack player, what makes them even more easer, especially if you have allies (picked assault mission)
Pathfinding is also terrible. On snow city map ai always make tank snakes and block each other, making their numbers kinda useless.
Another boring part, ai wont try predict you movement and just bursts ammo in your current position...
Also ai cant use engine boost... Yea, it will be real pain to balance, but still


In game stats
Firstly why game dont have somewhat of scatter mechanic? It make no sense to stay still even on heavy tanks, cause you always shot 100% accuratly (imo but crit in most cases just dont worth it)
Why not add turret rotation speed mechanic? Even heaviest of turrets (with few exeptions) rotate super fast for some reason...
Mobility buffs is also kinda lame. Better to split this 2 upgrades to different: +x de/acceleration, +x to max speed, +x to reverse speed.
Adding/splitting this stats will alow to add even more perks. (Like fixing you main tower in 1 direcition, but giving +x to stat, or in opposite more you spin - faster reloading, Guranteed penetration after 360 tower spin perk, hell yea :D ). Also its will kinda nerf tank stats upgrade.


Current balance "issues" (and bugs)
1. "Care" perk completle busted and literally auto win. Even with 2 crew tank, you can get a little of crew resistance and become almost unkillable.
2. "Stop thinking" perk kinda broken. I get it that you actually recive only "+2" choices for free(with high chance to get same thing again)...but why rerols retain without any cap. Each time I picked this I haved like 80 spare rerorlls at the end. Maybe instead of removing 2 options... this skill will give you 1 free reroll each time (which will not retain), but you can reroll only ONCE.
3. Shops are bad. Prices are too big...you usually can afford only 1 thing (and there 1 ally for sale every time). Either give shops more options or make some special perks/guns that can be obtained only in shops. The more strange thing...if you bought smth from shop you cant pick other free stuff. But if you picked free thing firstly you can sometimes still enter shop, lmao.
4. Weapon enchant are too powerfull, especially if you started on high tier tank. Just merge all guns to one whats you like, can always merge old one to new and transfer all affix. There is only one "bad" effect - DS. No brain involment at all. At leats make that cost money.
5. Free turret choise at the start make even "hell" tanks not that unbearable. I think its good idea to remove that.

Design issues
You cant check whats turret is on you while choosing new turret. Same goes for shop.

No description of students strategies (only some vague text in messenger) I still have no clue what they do. Or I just blind.


What will be really cool to see:

Rival schools as bosses. We all now on which anime this game was inspired...so more anime girls please. Morevore why dont make this boss fights really special? For example will be 4 rival schools (SOV, GER, ♥♥♥, BRIT). All will have some special tacticts (ai tweaks) and unique map (all enemy tanks correspond school country). Like japanise school will try too swarm (and ram) with lite vehicles when you get too close. German one will blitz you on open map (using engine boost) with their medium - heavy spearhed. Soviet will try to ambush you in a map full of bushes. Or just make Schwerer Gustav as boss for ger, what protected in middle of the map and will constantly bombard player. Well you get it, there are many ways to make these fights unique. Additionally its not necessarily to make boss model itself unique... Just make schools commandesr (anime girls) have strong high tier tank (modified pz 4 -> tiger I -> King TIger for german) and some text lines for them (just like with your crew). Also this approach to bosses will encorage player to prepare and keep different types of turrets instead of merging for affix (caus just like in Balatro you see what boss fight is coming, you stock/try to find suitable tuIrret type or stat boost).
Current bosses feel like some elite guys (damage sponges) and do not pose any real threat. Well pz z can oneshot you with rocket if you picked low armor tank, but thats all. Maybe make them mini bosses (elites) instead?

Unlocks. There is so much tanks...but its too boring to unlock them all. War thunder themed progression will probably be boring too, but less grindy. Like win with t38 to unlock t70 or smth. At least make unlocks for "special" tanks. For example, ram X tanks to death and win to unlock rammtiger. Or mount a 35+ range heavy turret on scout car for skeleton Jagtiger. Or win with 5+ allied tanks for ammocarrier. This will be good way to make players try something new.

Extra difficulty. Picking high tier tank is autowin...so why dont add extra challenge for them by making option to give enemies more advanced tanks too.
Btw there no "Random turrets for enemies" mode. Doesn't it just seem so obvious to add that?

More anime content. Make messenger more vn like, with dialogs and some lore. Some cg will be good too.


I am not a gamedev, so of corse all I write here is a huge IMHO.
I do not deny that everything I have written may have beem previously suggested or already being implemented, so... sorry about that. Also will be glad to see opinions of fellow gamers

You've written some good suggestions here. Especially the bosses. We need more variety for the bosses.

Thank you so much for providing so many useful suggestions—I truly appreciate it! It took me several days to go through them all.

Once I finish developing the advanced difficulty system, I will add more content related to characters, schools, and skills, and then remake the AI behavior. Stay tuned!:steamhappy:

Your suggestion is very meaningful and very correct. Unfortunately, only one person is in charge of this game. So a lot of interesting ideas take a long time and go through a lot of difficulties to realize.
