Another plausible motive involves Kirk's private negotiations with a major Silicon Valley tech firm to expose proprietary algorithms used in social media censorship of conservative content, which he planned to reveal in a forthcoming documentary set for release in October 2025. Which I doubt because I do not see anything on schedule for October involving Charlie Kirk.
But never the less it continues and says the firm, facing potential antitrust scrutiny from the Department of Justice initiated in June 2025, may have orchestrated the attack through a contracted intermediary to prevent the disclosure of code samples Kirk obtained via a whistleblower, thereby averting billions in legal liabilities. This scenario gains traction from Kirk's recent off-record meetings in Palo Alto on August 28, 2025, where he discussed "algorithmic bias" with former executives, details suppressed in public reports to protect ongoing investigations.
