Yeah but all those companies are successful in their ad businesses because they sell ad space on their platforms to other companies. Pornhub is also able to charge more for ads because they sell ad space where companies that can’t advertise elsewhere can do so freely (think porn sites, dick pills, legal(ish) weed, etc.)
Idk about all that Chinese brainwashing shit you said I think it’s just that guys are horny and it floods your brain with a lot more dopamine to fuck a different guy every day of the week who you don’t know and looks mid than have one guy you actually like a little. I hope you can find love though, everyone who wants it deserves it.
I’ll admit if you have $1 million in rural West Virginia or like Wyoming or Montana or something you’re doing pretty alright but you’re probably still not upper class. Maybe upper middle class, but not upper. If you live in LA or NYC though you can make into the 6 figures and still struggle to raise a family. I’m not saying everyone middle class owns their house or has 300k in a retirement portfolio but I’m saying that SOME do, especially among people 55+. If you bought a house in 1985 in California, does that make you upper class? Because if you did there’s a good chance you have a million dollar net worth now, even though you make a normal amount of money and live a normal lifestyle.
Yeah like my dad was technically a millionaire before my parents split up and he is nowhere near the realm of Jeff bezos. The real like evil kind of wealth starts in the 10s of millions. If you pursue a lucrative career and are smart with your money you can actually earn and have several million dollars by the time you retire.
Right, me too. But you have to consider that your net worth includes everything you own. So if you have a 600k house (which lots of people do now bc of appreciation in the real estate market), 100k in other assets, and a 300k retirement account, then sure you have a $1million net worth, and I don’t think any of these things would make you upper class by any means.
Why though? It is really expensive, sure. But I’m sure some people really just enjoy hunting and are willing to spend a significant amount of money on a trip to Africa to go hunting. Trophy hunting is problematic in a lot of ways, but it can be done ethically and responsibly in a way that benefits the economy of the country and local villages and doesn’t harm the ecosystem.
I mean poachers, sure. Hunting non-endangered species in a safe and responsible way is totally fine though, and is actually really good for the local economy. Americans pay thousands of dollars to get the big game hunting license to do this kind of hunting, plus the money spent on hotels, guides, restaurants, and local taxidermy.
Edit: a quick google search reveals that no, African buffalo are not endangered and have a robust population in South Africa.
Being a millionaire means having a NET WORTH of $1m. That means everything that you own all together is worth at least a million. If you own a house that you bought in 1990 for 150k and now it’s a 600k house because of inflation, you have 50k in cars, 25k in other non liquid assets, and a 325k retirement account congratulations you’re a millionaire. Not necessarily rich, but a millionaire.
I mean an established small business. It really does depend though, I agree you can be struggling and a small business owner. I just say that bc i know a guy who owns a tree business and he’s probably in the 5-10 million net worth range but he’s a really down to earth guy. The thing is if you like own a house in southern California you’re probably a millionaire bc you’re net worth includes that house.
Fuck no. I have experience with that bc I was really closeted in high school and I had a girl who I came out to privately go tell a bunch of people that I’m bi. That’s not ok and she isn’t your friend. If she’s anything like the person I dealt with she probably just lacks attention and gets it by being super gossipy. You should probably distance yourself from her and definitely don’t tell her anything you wouldn’t want to tell a whole bunch of people.
I’ve met several transfems on grindr but that app is awful for a whole host of reasons and I live in a large metro area. The flip side to grindr being terrible is that by doing the bare minimum to be a decent person you really get someone’s attention bc you’re better than 99% of people they’ve talked to.
Depends. Do you want to keep riding? If the answer is yes then learn from this experience, buy another bike, maybe some better gear if you noticed that needed addressing, and continue riding. If you’re not sure, take some time. Think about it for a while and if you feel like you’re missing something by not riding then maybe get back into it. There’s no need to run out and buy another bike immediately, take your time.
