双眼鏡も良い物だけど、サッと確認だとかで購入。 今はもう、ピントはスライダーでやるもんだとは思うけども 安めの単眼鏡でフロントフォーカスが気になり購入。 自分は裸眼（老眼大分進んだが…。）でイケるので使用感はなんてことはない。 不評なアイカップであるが、こうじゃないといけない。 理由は本体を持つ指と兼用でピント調節するから。と書いたけども覗く反対の手で覗かない目に当ててみるとウィンク出来ない人もピクピクすることなく覗けれる。 アイカップは横からの光を遮断するとともに瞳を接眼レンズセンターに持ってきやすくするものだから、 眼鏡っこは確かに邪魔くさいかもしれない平らなアイカップじゃないから。 レンズに触れてしまわないよう先を摘まむように持ち、間の指一本でピントを調整するのが一番やりやすいと思う。その時、先を摘まむのだが、根本はどう支えるのか。カップで支える。 ヒダが無いし、捲れとも書いていないので推奨ではないと思うが、カップ部は捲れる。 でも千切れそうなのですんなり外してしまい、レンズと眼鏡が当たらないようする必要があるかも。 ピント調整範囲は90度＋αでそんなに大きく動かない。最初にある程度動かすと ピント調節しやすいだろう。さするように調整するので買ってすぐは固くて動かないかも。 調整の狭さも相まってサッと見るということはしやすいかも。 この程度の望遠鏡は何台かあるが、コートはされていない感じは色ついていないからと思う。 が、全てがクリア。すごく明るく見える。 驚きだ。そういうのはそうそう無いような気がする。 流石は名が知れたメーカー。いい商品ですよ。

    bought this because I'm kind of monocular junkie, KENKO makes some pretty good stuff, and it was really cheap.

    The optics are SHARP! The 3/8" wide focus ring is hardly usable [I'm going to wrap it w/ 2-3 layers of friction tape]. The field of view is very narrow.... BUT it cost $12 - I have used a Zeiss 6x20 similar & the acuity of this KENKO is ~90% of the Zeiss's....

    Goes in car or backpack - NOT disappointed.
