Go looking for sci-fi anime from the 90's to late 2000's, anime gore peaked there

The old devilman anime films are also good. Haven't seen the newer ones so i can't recommend them.

Unfortunately no anime has the same amount of gore, the same kind of gore, and gore as well made, and is at the same time as good of an anime as Genocyber. Genocyber is quite special in that regard. There are other animes that have roughly as much gore, but they're worse. And there are many that are better, that are violent and gorey, but have less gore and the gore isn't as nicely animated.

Parasite Dolls is more of a body horror, think it's better because its type of gore sticks longer than shock gore

Old Devilman is a gory anime that I can recommend you.

Although I'm not sure if Devilman Lady can be fine as well. As it leans more into psychological horror and it's not as gory from what I remember.
Note that the Devilman Lady anime was written by the same person that did the story for Serial Experimens Lain, Texhnolyze, Digimon Tamers and even the Hellsing anime.

Another and Elfen Lied are works that are both truthly violent and gory aswell but are hard to recommend due to questionable artistic decisions that were popular for animes at the time and because they might not be what you are looking for.

It's quite difficult to see something like Genocyber, because almost every work that tried to be as explicit as or even more than Genocyber, was only released as a manga, as a visual novel or as a videogame. Because how many people want to see senselessly violent and gory cartoons when the medium is populated by "cute" foid does "cute" raisin, lame and immature "adult" cartoons that make even Family Guy look better, and fetishistic softcore porn or just outright porn, because that's what the average consoomer of the medium only wants.
