This shouldn't be illegal. And it's probably only illegal according to a cherry picking, corrupt, unelected alphabet agency. If people are too lazy to change the default search engine, then they aren't being cornered and they deserve what they get. Google will lose market share over time.

The lawmakers need to take Android and insist that Google offers it on phones as AOSP without Google's proprietary components pre-installed, then as part of the setup process, the user can choose to install them or not. That'd deal with the anti-competitiveness.
