As the autumn deepening, it has become a season that captivates the heart. This month, we will deliver the "Platto Japan Wine Subscription Box" again. October is the harvest season when vineyards are enveloped in abundance. We have prepared two unique wines, woven from the passion of the winemakers and the blessings of the land. Edel Wine's "Monde Brillant Sparkling 2024" offers a refreshing effervescence that evokes the clear air of Iwate. Its citrus-like freshness and lightness will color the beginning of autumn. Domaine Takeda's "Delaware Barrel Aged 2023" is carefully barrel-aged Delaware from Yamagata. Its mellowness and lingering finish, spreading beyond the fruitiness, will comfortably accompany the flavors of autumn. In this season of abundant harvest, when your dining table becomes richer, please slowly enjoy the unique charm of Japanese wine.

Edelwine Mondobrie SP
A dry white wine with a youthful acidity and a slight bitterness. The aroma of Japanese pears and muscat adds a sharp texture, making it perfect for a casual enjoyment chilled. As the temperature rises, the aroma becomes richer. It goes perfectly with grilled eel, Vietnamese cuisine made with cilantro, and chicken pho.
Yamagata Prefecture / Takeda Winery
Domaine Takeda Delaware Barrel Aged 2023
The beautiful yellow tones are gorgeous, with a rich, oily scent reminiscent of vanilla, citrus peel, and white roses. Although dry, it is characterized by a perfect balance of Delaware fruit and barrel flavors, with a smooth mouthfeel and a long-lasting aftertaste. It has a long-lasting bitter aftertaste with mild tannins and citrus nuances, and goes well with Saikyo-yaki, Meuniere, and conger eel.
