自民党のデジタル社会推進本部から、「外国勢力によるデジタル情報干渉に対する緊急提言」をいただきました。他国において自国に好ましい環境を作り出すため、偽情報の拡散を含む様々な影響工作によって世論や意思決定に影響を及ぼそうとする事案が国際的に発生しており、こうした事案について、我が国は例外と考えてはなりません。 自民党の提言において指摘されているように、こうした事案を放置すれば、我が国の民主主義の根幹を揺るがしかねない重大な脅威となりかねません。 国家安全保障戦略では、認知領域における情報戦への対応能力を強化する、とされており、これまでも一定の取組を進めてきましたが、このたび、政府として、体制を強化し、これまでの取組を更に強化することといたします。
