The other streams included the 1997 Sega Pinball Star Wars Trilogy, 1980 Hankin The Empire Strikes Back and last night’s stream of Stern’s new Star Wars Home Edition Plus Costco pin.
During the Sega and Data East streams, Stern Pinball’s Jack Danger showed off two more sculpts from Stern’s upcoming pin, the Millennium Falcon and the Death Star. I have included pictures of those items below.
During last nights stream of the Home Edition, Stern’s Chief Creative Officer, George Gomez shared a few new details about the upcoming cornerstone game.
First up, he confirmed the rumor that I shared the other day that Raymond Davidson is doing the game’s code.
Additionally he talked about how the new Spike 3 game has a larger LCD screen yet still has a full translite and how the sound system is significantly improved. He couldn’t stop raving about the sound.
He and Jack Danger also discussed how the new Spike 3 boards have a port that allows direct HDMI output of both video and audio for pinball streamers.
They stated that Stern is just waiting on approval of its “marketing stuff” to reveal the new game. I predicted earlier, hopefully correctly this time lol, that we won’t see the full reveal of Stern Pinball Star Wars “Fall of the Empire” until next week, likely Tuesday.
