I've been receiving pics from the MLID community today that proves both that there was TONS of RX 9000 supply, but also that there was even larger demand... #AMD sold out in hours, and that pic of #Nvidia "supply" shows why...Nvidia's not supplying their side of the market... 🤦‍♂️

100% this is true. I warned y'all about B580, RTX 5090, RTX 5080, and recently RTX 5070 Ti supply... ...and from what I am hearing, RTX 5070 supply could be worse than even the 5090!!! 🤦‍♂️

Fun fact: If you see 9070 XT's sold out shortly after release, it will mean retailers will have sold more 9070 XT's than all GeForce 50 series GPUs combined. (this includes RTX 5070 stock)

I also received the attached #AMD letter last night. Unlike #Nvidia, AMD is offering assistance to AIBs to prevent bots & scalpers. I also find this statement about RX 6000 interesting: "built to enable world-class gaming performance." Doesnt sound like a 3070 competitor to me!

That's it. AMD just killed DLSS overnight. DLSS is a complete waste of devs' time - Nvidia will have to completely pay for any DLSS implementations themselves... ...and when FSR becomes completely widespread? RDNA 3 will launch with extra abilities to accelerate it.

#PlayStation "Canis" is the important PS6 APU to watch in terms of what could impact gaming the most 2027/8. 1) Sorry fanboys - it doesn't really matter if one console wins performance by 10% versus 30% - the experience will be the same. Who cares how close

I can now 100% confirm the upcoming 6950 XT, 6850 XT, and 6750 XT are still on the same 7nm node as their predecessors. That still leaves room for an above 10% boost when combined with 18Gbps memory, & thus I still expect the 6950 XT to be a far better product than the 3090 Ti.

I feel a need to remind people of 2 points from last night's leak that I suspect ppl will fail to remember: 1) RDNA5 RT is MUCH higher than RDNA2, and thus PS6 RT could be 5-10x PS5. 2) Orion specs were not final in 2023, and I directly suggested Sony will likely increase CUs.
