1 van 5 sterren Stefan Vasile Completed a large extension for me nearly two years ago. The majority of his work was substandard. I had no choice but to manage his team myself as he rarely attended the site and he had all my money so couldn't end our contract. We've already had him pay for the roof to be redone, he paid half as he disagreed there was anything wrong with the work. We are currently taking legal action as there is no spreader plate under a steel beam and the joist under a bath are incorrect and need reinforcing. Most of his reviews are bogus and I would certainly avoid this contractor. In the beginning he is a friendly man, once started he'll perform poorly and slowly. When challenged on his errors he was verbally aggressive. I was constantly managing his aggressive behaviour once being pulled up on his mistakes. Major mistakes like using a 15cm wide joist in a roof instead or a 25cm joist. His errors are only just beginning to show. We are taking legal action. Until now we've decided not to write public reviews about Stefan and his company. However there were so many problems with his work and he doesn't care that he has left us with a structurally unsound property. He requested I appoint a surveyor. This I did. Once the surveyor's report suggested negligent building work he then refused to listen and offer anything towards my £7500 costs to correct the work. I'm a reasonable guy so requested a £4,000 payment towards the £7500 corrective bill. He's refused my generosity! Sadly this will now cost him in legal fees and expenses. Sad he can't even accept whats he has done.

1 van 5 sterren Absolute conman. Bodged everything up downed his tools after taking out money. We had to hire someone else to fix he's bodged up works, still trying to get it finished. Do not fall for his fake online profiles and reviews. That's the mistake I made....

1 van 5 sterren INFORMATION REQUEST Dear Simvik Ltd, Would you be kind enough to share details of all of the customer projects that you have abandoned in the past five years? Please be kindly reminded there has been numerous in number where you have taken the money took your tools away and disappeared and after a period of customer contact avoidance you subsequently claimed you were owed further sums of money and telling them all "go and do what you like." It is only fair that those searching and carrying out their due diligence have such information readily available so that they can take an informed decision. Since none of this information is available as you constantly have reviews with such information taken down swiftly. Furthermore, reviewing features have been disabled of the portals that are available. The portals with your 5* reviews are those which you have total control over and reviews can only be published with your approval. The public needs to know of your hidden skeletons in the cupboard.

1 van 5 sterren STEFAN PRAISING HIMSELF AND HIS COWBOY AND THIEVING STAFF! All of the reviews except of Alex James' on TRUSTPILOT are fakes which Stefan has dictated in praising himself and his staff. Stefan is anything but professional and most certainly NOT trustworthy. Pull him up on his substandard workmanship and you will see the real character emerge one which is rude, aggressive and intimidating. Stefan is only interested in the customers money, customer satisfaction is not really of any intetest to him. Ask him how many projects he has abandoned after taking all of the money and then dissapearing. Lying to and deceiving his customers comes naturally to him. This is his forte. Our experience of Stefan is that he cannot be trusted and will take short cuts every where possible to pocket the money himself. You are being warned to keep away. He has now sought to use Trustpilot with fake and dictated reviews to counter all of the negative online reviews on various other sites. Simvik Customer

1 van 5 sterren Worst builder ever. Can't trust a word he says. Uses cheap materials and pockets the money himself as if he got you the good stuff. Never sticks to timings and is very rude when coming to the final stages of the job. Would warn everyone to stay away. It's not worth the hassle using him. Quality of the work is terrible. I had other builders check the work and couldn't believe the poor quality of the finish. One of his thieving workers stole my phone and took it to Romania as well, which I later found out!! Never again with Stefan and his cowboy team at simvik! He did not complete my extension and abondoned the job at about 85% of the way requiring me to find someone else. Terrible builders!!

1 van 5 sterren "GO AND DO WHAT YOU LIKE " Time after time customers in the "Simvik Victims Group" were told 'go and do what you like' after being left with an endless list of faulty and defective works after having their projects abandoned. This was a regular customer experience of Simvik Ltd customers. Readers can draw their own conclusions on where numerous people have had their personal properties damaged, some having their cars bricked and others having their front garden walls chopped with a grinder and then knocked down, the walls that Simvik Ltd had built as part of the contracted works. All of these people happen to be dissatisfied customers of Simvik Ltd who had shared their experiences online. Of course accusations cannot be labeled at anyone specifically, however readers can draw their own conclusions on all of these connected incidents. 1 van 5 sterren "Mistake of Hiring Simvik Ltd"
I hired Simvik Ltd on back of the details I saw online on various builders portals to do our loft conversion. It turned out to be a big mistake in hiring a builder that once the works had started insisted in using his own materials and fittings which we were not familiar with and suddenly a pattern developed where he wanted to do things his own way. We weren't allowed to query anything that we felt wasn't correct, for instance the use of 8 to 1 sand-cement ratio mortar for brickwork, concrete and other works requiring sand-cement mortar. Stefan said that this was absolutely fine. We felt being intimidated and forced into accepting the unfamiliar materials and fittings he wanted to use and in doing things his way even though we knew that they weren't being done correctly. For example they were melting the plastic waste pipes for push fitting instead of using the proper connectors. These are just a couple of items being mentioned here from an endless list of defective and poorworkmanship. We were left with an incomplete and problematic project and the builder clearing he's tools and walking away. After being promised that every thing will be corrected and the projected completed and having us waiting and still living in a buiding site for several months, subsequently Stefan claimed that he was owed further monies and that he wouldn't be returning to the site, he then went missing and in hiding. We were told "go and do what you like".
The experience of Simvik Ltd has been nothing but a complete nightmare as we have spent huge amounts of money and have been left with a catalogue of problems behind including non functional equipment, such poor quality of workmanship and the use of wrong materials that it's gong to take phenomenonal effort plus tens of thousands of pounds more to correct all of the defective works carried out by Simvik Ltd.Â
Based on our experience "I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO HIRE SIMVIK LTD" for their building project and that they don't just go by the online details of builders claiming how wonderful they are. People need to carry out proper due deligence to include copies of recent project contracts and permissions to contact customers to carry out genuine references and to look into the state of the companies financial health by asking for last 2-3 years accounts and bank statements. Should a company decline to provide such information as part of the due deligence process then one can draw their own conclusion of the suitability of hiring such a company. I hope this helps out.
