They marched from the Bell Hotel, raised the Union Jack at the council offices, and stood proud in front of their people. That’s supposed to mean something. That’s supposed to be freedom.
Instead of letting her stand, the cops dragged down and cuffed her like a criminal. In front of everyone. For what? For daring to show her face, for daring to carry the flag of her own country.
This isn’t law and order. It’s the state flexing its muscle to remind you who really owns the ground beneath your feet. And they did it deliberately, to break the crowd’s spirit. To make an example out of her.
They want you afraid. They want you quiet. They want you to believe that raising your own flag is now an arrestable act.
It’s rage-inducing. It’s a betrayal. And if this doesn’t light a fire in you, you’re already beaten.
