Big Brother Simulation 9

This is the ninth season of the completely random Big Brother Simulation. The show started on the 30th of September in Year 4 and concluded on the 11th of December the same year. This season featured 13 houseguests, thus making this season the first since season 3 to feature less than 14 houseguests. One of the houseguests, Christmas Abbott, was a returning houseguest. Episodes were broadcast on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Monday's episodes featured the HoH Competition and the Nomination Ceremony. Thursday's episode featured the PoV Competition and the Veto Ceremony. Fridays episode featured the live vote and eviction and the start of the next Head of Household competition (though sometimes it featured the whole HoH competition and thus making the following Monday episode not feature the competition). The live season premiere was broadcast on a Thursday with the following Friday episode featuring footage from the first night in the house and the first Head of Household competition. Also the live finale was broadcast on a special Saturday night episode.

This season saw a major twist implement how the game was played. The houseguest were divided into teams representing four different cliques commonly found in high school. These cliques were Athletes, Brains, Off-beats and Populars. If a houseguest won Head of Household, the rest of their clique was immune for the week and could not be nominated. Other than than factor, the houseguests were free to work with or against each other as they pleased. This twist ended in week 4.

On opening night, the twelve new houseguests competed in their respective team and the winning team, the Athletes, won an extra member of their team. This resulted in Christmas entering the game as a fourth member of the Athletes clique and becoming the first Head of Household. Three other returning houseguests were lined up to join the game if their respective clique won the first challenge. Will Kirby for the Brains, Ronnie Talbott for the Off-Beats and Jun Song for the Populars.

The Coup D'État twist returned this season as well. The twist saw the holder of it have the power to remove either one or both nominees of the block on eviction night and then choose the replacement nominees. Vanessa was voted by the fans to receive the power and used it in week 5 when she saved herself and Elissa and then nominated Austin and Christmas for eviction.
