Rakuten Casa

Rakuten Casa is a small base station for indoor use that connects to your home internet line to create a small Rakuten coverage areas.

  • *Rakuten Casa includes both the original model without router functionality and the Rakuten Casa 6 with router capabilities. You cannot choose which model you will receive.
  • *The router function of Rakuten Casa 6 is compatible only with certain internet lines (Rakuten Hikari only). (As of January 2023)
  • *Rakuten Casa is not compatible with 5G communication services.
  • *Internet speed depends on the speed of the internet connection to which Rakuten Casa is linked, for both LTE and Wi-Fi.
  • *The availability of Rakuten Casa may be affected by the building's structure and the presence of obstacles, which may impede signal reception even within the same building.

  • *Data communication speed may be reduced during peak times due to the use of internet lines.
  • *Rakuten Casa is not compatible with 5G communication services.
  • *To use this service, you will need phones compatible with the Rakuten Network.

  • Not engaging in any of the following prohibited activities:
    • Relocation of Rakuten Casa without our consent
    • Unplugging Rakuten Casa or turning it OFF/ON without our prior consent.

*1 "Open" refers to the following conditions.
・Internet line construction has been completed and you are in an environment where you can use the Internet line.
・Even if you are in an environment where you can use the Internet, if you have applied for a change of address or a contract change (conversion) to another Internet service provider, you must be in an environment where you can use the Internet after the change of address or conversion.
