The easiest free way to do it is to run it through MS Word/Google Docs' translator. It's MTL so it's pretty shit compared to AI and I had to manually fix some translation errors in regards to names (which is quick enough to do), but it gets the job done. It makes it into a horizontal orientation but there's no proper line breaks/indentations, sadly. I guess time could be spent to manually add those back in.

About half the Tsubasa stories were kinda interesting, the rest were just boring and whatever. Both the Hane stories are garbage. Our Confession was okay but it's kinda weird the way it wants to spell things out but still pussyfoots around with Shannon. Last Note is a bit too long, but the final scene with Ange and Piece was pretty nice and I always like the "behind the scenes" stuff. That was my assessment, anyway. I wish they had adapted more physical, written stories for Higurashi (for Hou+ maybe), I feel like there's almost more Umineko content that's consumable in the VN medium than Higurashi, which is insane with how much Higurashi shit came out over the years. Oh well, I guess Gou and mobile game was more important lol.

Higurashi Daydreak Mega is the most complete. Also has new sprites for the VN scenes rather than using 3d models. You need an emulator though and it hasn't been translated. The story is different from Daybreak Kai/Portable too.
