In Toberg Fuchstein's defense, the gameplay is significantly better than other troon-based combat RPGs and that was relatively original. Also that ending was the most retarded sequence of events in all of gaming.

I think the idea was supposed to be that claus is all fucked up and tormented from being turned into a slave by porky but since he disappeared from chapters 1-6 we know fuck all about him so it's kind of hard to feel sad about him using PK ACK

the game says that if a good guy pulls the needle then the world is saved and the world is destroyed if a bad guy pulls it. so either the ending is a giant middle finger or there's a dialogue that says there will still be an apocalypse which makes the ending even more braindead because the characters willingly destroyed the world for the cop out ambiguous reddit ending. no matter how you frame it the ending to that game is unsatisfying tearbait cop-out melodrama because an actual cool ending wouldn't work with rpgslutta gameplay
