Why Early Access?

As development progresses, we’ll be adding more content, expanding the story, and improving the overall experience to deliver a polished and immersive final product.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The initial plan was to release the game in November 2026, and we anticipate that this will be the target date. However, as development progresses, unforeseen circumstances may arise, which could affect the timeline. We do not expect the release to extend beyond 2027.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full version of Mystical Mushrooms to include a complete main storyline, along with core mechanics like exploration, resource management, and combat, all developed to their fullest potential. The Early Access version offers a glimpse into the game’s world and systems, but many regions, quests, and narrative elements are still in progress and subject to change as development continues.

As we work toward version 1.0, additional content and polish will be added to ensure the game feels complete and immersive. Even after the full release, we plan to continue expanding the game with new storylines and areas.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We’re currently at version 0.1, and the game is in the early stages of development. Players can explore much of Bhokniva, encounter a small selection of enemies, and complete a few quests. Recently, fast travel has been implemented, making it easier to navigate the available areas. While not all features are fully realized, the foundation of the game is in place, giving players a chance to experience its core elements and provide feedback as we continue development.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, this game is and will always be free.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community is an essential part of Mystical Mushrooms' development. Feedback and suggestions will directly influence updates, balancing, and new content. While we welcome discussions and input across platforms like Twitter and the Steam forum, bug reports and detailed feedback are best shared on our Discord server, where we can engage with players more directly and efficiently.”
