lol guess what folks, because we have mice our warranty on our brand new fridge we bought 4 months ago by begging our landlord to let us buy the fridge through a month and a half of rent, is void.
the only thing I can do is then pay for a third party service who doesn’t care that we have mice who’ll fix the the issue. but I absolutely cannot afford that. at all.
.I don’t what else to do but ask for help. we were struggling so much without a fridge, we cannot afford to lose one we just bought.
Im going to aim for 200 USD and hope that paired with my next check will cover a repair from a third party contractor. please please help me if you can, I have nowhere else to turn. reblogs are deeply appreciated.

@thealexandriaarchives also no I actually had someone from the company come out and inspect the fridge. he believes he knows what’s wrong but company policy dictates because our apartment has mice that the warranty is voided as they could have caused damage. realistically there is either a heater thing that needs to be replaced or the drain for the freezer is frosted over and needs to be cleared out

Does your landlord require you to have renter’s insurance? Most do these days, have you tried putting in a claim for the fridge there as well as a warranty? Read what’s covered carefully and write your claim to match but if it’s not working from a short or something like that you can definitely get it covered and probably get the handyman to write you a document for the claim to submit to prove it
