Join us for our round-trip adventure on the historic Kentucky & Tennessee Railway line. The trip will take you on a picturesque 45-minute trip to Blue Heron, where you will spend 1.5 hours exploring the beautiful and historic scenery, with a 45-minute trip back to the depot, including a narration and history of the area (3 hours total).

Murder Mystery Train

The Big South Fork Scenic Railway’s Murder Mystery Train is an unforgettable evening of suspense, dinner, and interactive fun. Departing at 6:00 PM, this special event takes guests on a scenic ride to the historic Barthel Coal Camp, where a Southern-style dinner is served and a thrilling whodunit mystery unfolds. Tickets are $69.99 per person 18 and up. Reservations can be made online, by calling the ticket office, or in person on the day of the event—based on availability.
