Having said that, I'm going to continue watching, because it seems like it's finally picking up with ep 5.

I watched 4 eps so far – IMHO this is for mature sci-fi enthusiasts. Nothing spectacular, no laser guns or battles in space, well – not an alien in sight so far. It's more believable this way – and I really enjoy the series. BTW – WARNING – stay away from "4400" reboot series – it's a bloody travesty, way worse than "Roswell" new edition. What a waste of a good story.
