This auction is for a vintage front page and sports page from the Cleveland Plain Dealer newspaper dated June 23, 1937. Both the front page and sports page have news and photos about the heavyweight boxing match won by Joe Louis over James Braddock. The front page has a large photo of Louis with a banner full width headline saying, " LOUIS KNOCKS OUT BRADDOCK." The sports page has a photo of the two boxers before the fight began. The original pages are 17"x21" and are in very good condition. The front page would look great framed for display. Please see photos for more info. Thanks.
