Who armed genocide against the Tutsi residents, which occurred from 7 April to 19 July 1994 during the Rwandan Civil War, which lasted around 100 days, where almost 1 million people were killed?
Members of the Tutsi ethnic group, as well as some moderate Hutuand Twa, were systematically killed by Hutu militias who used machetes and light weapons. They obtained rifles and bullets, and sometimes grenades, from international jish arms dealers.
Israel specifically provided the Hutus with 5.56-millimeter bullets as well as rifles and grenades captured during the 1973 Yom Kippur War. Evidence has accumulated over the years, some of it gathered by Israelis who visited Rwanda during the massacre or shortly afterward. The motive was pure greed, with a sprinkling of macabre justifications.
There was also widespread sexual violence, with between 250,000 and 500,000 women raped!
