    「犯人は誰なのか。大どんでん返しが待ち受ける、衝撃のミステリ。」とあるけれど、これはミステリとは言い難い作品です。ミステリを期待して読んではいけません。SF未来小説 あるいはファンタジー小説ですね。
    いちおう殺人事件が発生しフーダニットとハウダニットが展開されるけれど、空想小説なので現実世界の人には理解しがたい動機がフーダニットの解となっています。被害者の思考も、加害者の思考も、探偵役の思考も、現代人には共感不能です。一方のハウダニットも現実世界とは異なる空間の物語なので、実は 天変地異の影響で すぐそこに海がありそれを利用しました、なんていう ほぼ禁じ手のようなものをトリックとして用いています。こういうのを大どんでん返しと呼べるのでしょうか？
    また、SF小説だから 設定は なんでもやりたいほうだいなのはしかたないところもあるが、宇宙人により人類の大半が死滅され、世界に残された13のコロニーのうち、２つが日本にあるとか、北海道のコロニーが破壊されたあと、富士のコロニーまで小さな少年が単独でたどり着いたとか、都合が良すぎるよね。それだけ世界が破壊しつくされて地表の大半が水没していたら、気候も大きく変動するはずなのに、農業が維持されて自給自足が成立しているのも不思議で非科学的です。非科学的ですからSFとも言い切れないわけでファンタジー小説と受け止めるのが正解でしょうか。
    12歳の少女が主人公なので、もっとより明確に少年文学として書いた方が良かったと思います。ポプラ社や集英社のみらい文庫あたりで発表すべきでしたね。
