命が失われたことに、深い悲しみを覚えております。
日本国政府を代表し、犠牲になられた方々に深く哀悼の意を表するとともに、御遺族に衷心よりお悔やみ申し上げます。また、負傷された方々の一日も早い快復をお祈りいたします。
I am deeply saddened to learn that many precious lives
were lost in the flood that occurred in the northern part of
India. On behalf of the Government of Japan, I pray for the
souls of the victims and extend my deepest condolences to the bereaved families. I would also like to express my
sincere wishes for the swift recovery of the injured.
