🇦🇺 James Laurenceson (罗震; right pic), Director of Australia-China Relations Institute at University of Technology Sydney, tried to get Australian National University to fire 🇦🇺 Robert Potter (left pic), a cybersecurity expert running his own cybersecurity company, from a fellowship after Potter highlighted that ACRI has been receiving funding from 🇨🇳 state-owned China Construction Bank and John Holland, a subsidiary of 🇨🇳 majority state-owned China Communications Construction Company. The founding chairman of ACRI is 🇨🇳 businessman Huang Xiangmo (黄向墨), whose Australian permanent residency was revoked, and application for citizenship denied, by Australian authorities in 2019 due to concerns of his links to the CCP (as an agent of Chinese influence advancing Beijing’s interests). dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1

UPDATE: So I wrote this post and James Laurenceson the Director of ACRI tried to get me fired by ANU. I hold an unpaid fellowship at ANU from my work training cyber forces in Ukraine and studying the future of warfare. While I was at the front he was trying to get me fired.🧵 x.com/rpotter_9/stat…
