Holy shit that fucking guy!! I've seen that "2sdays" guy who runs that channel MANY times before on YT. He's very new to Azumanga and when confronted about that he proceeds to larp in a fit of rage as an oldfag because he wishes he was one. He writes in an unstable way like that because he's severely mentally fucked up and on multiple different psychiatric pills and takes HRT messing up his hormonal balance. I and some others fed up with his super mega faggotry and moronic larp tried to doxx him a few years back but we unfortunately didn't get very far.

He runs this bandcamp page: https://mcazumi.bandcamp.com/ (archived in 2022: https://archive.is/LwdWE )
Note all the "Lucky Star" shit on his bandcamp. Typical of trannies (for example: >>101725 ). And which by the way reveals he's very young and not an oldfag Azutard (most Azutards and especially the older ones hate Lucky Star and really all post-Azumanga moeslop in general, see this thread for highly relevant info: >>98296 - - don't mistake Lucky Star fans who also happen to like Azumanga as being "Azumanga fans" as they aren't; they're LS fans who who later found Azu - To get a proper perspective over the tranny-infestation that occurred into the Azu fandom over the last couple years, and also get a more proper perspective on Azumanga if your impression about it is solely based on the current state of affairs, read this thread: >>101887 (OP) )

Related to 2sdays's newness and low age btw, see the YTfags "Community" posts here https://www.youtube.com/@2sdays/posts and there scroll down to bottom and see when his first post was made and what sort "babby's first encounter with azu" tier thing he posted there. And also scroll to bottom here https://archive.is/EGZ40 to see what sort of music he listens to, and note he calls it "ballin ass pimp music" - only little kids talk like that.

Here's proof the bandcamp page is indeed his, an archive of his "About" page on YT: https://web.archive.org/web/20240906230758/https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCoLpXkI-DiIkSA-ffX2iHKw/about — ALSO NOTE "lSRAEL" - He later removed the link to the bandcamp page and also removed "lsrael"

This channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRctvOYEW8c8nFRheWRtkJw (archived https://archive.is/NFvMm ) that used to be linked via his About page has, unsurprisingly, a Touhou avatar - and a search for touhou on that channel reveals several videos: https://www.youtube.com/@da_archivist6053/search?query=touhou

By the way about how he "wishes he was an oldfag" mentioned at the start of this post, it's something I've noticed with a lot of young people nowadays regardless what it is they're fans of. It's a phenomenon that's not limited to Azumanga or anime. One can can run into people on YT (and other places) who are clearly very young, just teenagers even, who like some video game made in the late 90s and they're pretending they played it when it was new and that they've been fans of it (or some long-running series) ever since its initial release, when they very obviously did not and can't be as they weren't even born then. Sometimes it's very obvious because (to use YT example) their channel consists entirely of or mostly of videos from a later entry in the game series, an entry released just a few years ago, or a remake version, and their first posts are about that later game or that remake. But they try to act like they're old fans who've been in the fanbase since the start. It's a strange new phenomenon and seems like it's gotten more common lately. I don't recall people behaving like that in the past, as in decades ago. Not to the same extent and in such extreme ways as now.

I wonder if he'd be happier knowing the show itself was a large part of my childhood and I recently spent 10 full hours rewatching the entire thing in one sitting

Schizophrenia. Specifically paranoid schizophrenia or schizo anxiety. It's obviously manifesting in him with every new post he makes regarding the show

Just to be clear I'm not an Azu oldfag as in an originalfag who read the manga in 1999 or even as in someone who read the manga in 2000 or 2001 or early 2002 prior to the anime, nor have I ever pretended to be nor ever wanted to be (and I've never seen any point or logic in that stuff - that phenomenon mentioned earlier, it's very strange). I saw the anime about 20 years ago counting backwards from now. In other words the anime had already aired 3 years earlier, so I was a bit late to it. If someone who's been into Azumanga since 1999 think people who saw the anime 5-7 years later aren't oldfags, I have no problem with that. From such an individual's perspective we may not, to him, feel like Azu oldfags. But vs the significantly newer fans I think it's fair to classify people like us as old ones. I certainly /feel/ like an old Azu fan since 20 years have passed. Especially whenever I'm talking to people who only discovered it recently.

Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the sub group but the release had yellow or white (I think yellow but not 100% positive) basic-looking subs and came out prior to the KickAssAnime release that had much nicer custom subs. The res was lower than the 640x480 res of the KickAssAnime release, like 512x384 (or maybe 576x432) which used to be a common res to release in before 640x480 took over (at the time but even more so in the preceding years whenever an anime was at 640x480 it was quite the pleasant surprise due to how large that looked - especially if you were running only 1024x768 as that meant the 640x480 video took up more than half of the monitor width and height, and still at 1280x960 it was exactly half in size vs that res). I remember the KickAssAnime release was a major upgrade in terms of image quality too, not just resolution, vs that older release. The subs must've been hardcoded in the older release because I had trouble getting the subs to show up at first when I switched to the KickAssAnime one (they used softsubs). Someone might know which release I'm talking about, if so let me know the name.

From what I deduced (years ago) from his channel and from comments he made, he most likely saw Azumanga in 2021 or maybe 2020. Rather telling is this: https://archive.is/3SS1O - it's telling, because he made a distinction between "2020" and "2022" as if that tiny difference matters somehow. Such a distinction would only matter to someone who saw it in 2021 or 2020.

>>104635
That's FAR from the worst I've seen from him. He's raged and schizo'd out in the YT comment sections in worse ways than that, but he deleted most of his comments later after he calmed down. I'm not joking or exaggerating when I wrote in my previous post that he's severely mentally fucked up. That's not an overstatement. He's on meds and they probably just fuck him up more, do more harm than good. What makes it so extra retarded and extra weird is that on top of his mental instability he essentially posts as if he's been into Azumanga for a loooong time, when clearly he saw it within the same time-window as all those other new fans who discovered it between 2020 to 2023 or so when it had a surge in popularity again (Azumanga has had previous such surges - there was one in ~2009 where it got many new fans). It's like he saw it in 2021 or maybe in 2020 and for some reason perceive people who saw it in 2022 or 2023 as "new" vs him and as different from him and evil and bad. It's bizarre as hell. He doesn't realize he was part of the same wave of newcomers, the same wave of new fans. The same type of people, simply, too: his instability aside, he's part of the same people he's raging against; he's the same generation as them with the same new values and ways of thinking etc. The Azu fanbase has definitely changed in some ways over the decades (but in other ways it hasn't changed at all; much remains the same) and many of the newest fans aren't at all like those who were new decades ago were, case-in-point the trannies; there were no trannies infesting and trannyizing the fandom 20, 15, or even 10 years ago. But he's making a distinction between people seeing it in 2022 or 2023 and him seeing it just 1-2 years earlier. It's ridiculous. And it's also ridiculous that he thinks Azumanga has been destroyed. Not even the trannies managed to do that (all they did was warp people's perception of Azumanga). Azumanga remains Azumanga.
