Trump Agrees on Ukraine Red Lines With Europe Before Putin Summit

Trump says he would abandon talks with the Russian president if he senses an agreement on Ukraine can’t be reached.

Trump said he would meet with the Russian leader in Alaska on Aug. 15, following Putin’s proposal. Hours later, Ukraine’s Zelensky ruled out giving up land.
