• Diary 057: 16th March

  

  Uh oh, time certainly flew by fast! I did want to post earlier than that, but everytime I would postpone it by doing something else. Sorry everyone!

  I do hope that you are all doing well and that February went well. Things are doing fine for me despite some stressful events here and there, but the mood is quite stable I would say? I am still playing Limbus, but now I switched from Tribes of Midgard to Elder Scrolls Online since nearly a month. Also started Darkest Dungeon, but I outright added plenty of mods to it so I am not having a vanilla experience for sure.

  Since last time, the gaming industry and the anime’s are in shambles with that Sweet Baby Inc. drama and Toriyama’s passing. Let us hope that it will mark a good turning point and that things won’t go downhill from here.

  I also spent hours getting a local booru on my laptop for my OCs, I have yet to try and see if making a server would be worth it. For now I am happy I got it working for myself. I also try to color and do edits of stuff these days.

  Anyhow, I cannot believe winter is already close to being over, I did not get cold a single time indoors… we did not use the heater a single time. Let’s hope this spring will have a good weather too! See you around!

• Diary 056: 10th February

  

  Hello everyone! after the usual yearly months long break, I am finally back! not a lot changed these past months, but it was well past due for me to post something in here so here I am!

  Can’t say 2024 is kind with me with personal issues but heh, I suppose that’s the same for everyone! Aside of it, I am fairly fine and I hope everyone else too!

  

  Since around halloween, I have been playing Limbus Company, and I am having a blast! I think it easily can get in my top 3 gacha games and RPG games overall due to the gameplay and teambuilding aspects of it.

  Aside of it, I have been playing a bit of Monster Hunter World, Tribes of Midgard and some other games, that I will maybe talk about in the coming days. I really, really want to try to push myself to do articles about games I try and such.

  Oh yes, aside of that, I am happy to say that I finally received the commission a good friend was buying for my birthday! So I shall post it here firsthand!

  

  I shall henceforth cut this diary entry short, so that I will have other stuff to say later on! Have a Happy Valentine’s day if no entry is posted for the occasion, and have a good week!

• Arts Works 005: Happy Halloween!

  

  Once again, happy halloween everyone! As said in the previous Diary entry, I worked hard on a short coloration of a quick sketch made by a friend, I hope you shall enjoy it! There is no alternative color scheme this time, sadly!

  

  This is also the very first Halloween drawing I ever got, so I really enjoy it for sure!

• Diary 055: 31st October

  

  Happy Halloween everyone! I hope everyone is going to have a good spooky day.

  I do not have much to say aside that I watched Vinesauce spooky videos, the Dark Shadows movie from Tim Burton and the Fnaf movie.

  The Tim Burton movie was great, funny, and with the kind of atmosphere I like to enjoy. Great watch.

  Fnaf on the other hand, well, I could do a review about it but there is not much to say… it’s just dull and dumbed down from the games, the movie is NOT scary, at all, there is almost never any tension, but it looks nice, the characters are cool and have some good backgrounds, personalities… but yeah, if you replace the robots by another set of robots, you have the same movie, it’s just that it has a Fnaf skin, but almost nothing that makes its uniqueness.

  Anyhow, I also will post an artwork right after this article, and on that note, bye bye!

• Arts Works 004: Vesra Recolored

  

  Good evening to everyone! Today I wanted to show you the recolor of my oldest coloration, the original design for Vesra!

  

  

  I spent a good amount of hours on it, little by little, but I think I can deem it as finished now. There are also some alternative schemes as usual but do not pay too much mind on them!

  

  

  I still have some drawings left to color, so I keep myself busy these days. Hopefully, you shall enjoy all of them!

• Diary 054: 10th October

  

  Good morning or evening everyone! It’s already October it seems, and we can tell by the weather alone going worse and worse in many countries, at least the heat of summer is going away!

  Not much has gone on on my end as always, aside of the fact that I still play Honkai Star Rail and my Switch for most things. I also tried out Waven since, and gave the MHA Battle Royale a short run. It’s honestly not worth putting efforts in playing daily for rewards, and it does feel repetitive and boring a lot even by battle royale standards despite the unique mechanics. I’d rather just play a fighting game than that if I want a MHA fix.

  Oh yes, F-Zero 99 is also here and that was quite the surprise, it is refreshing to watch many popular youtubers play it, and it makes for a lot of tense moments and banger music. I never had much fun watching youtube in a few months or weeks than now!

  I also work a lot on colouring some old drawings I have, and it’s going well. You already got to see the Mima one, but there are more coming up soon.

  As for Boruto, since I got nothing anymore, I started Naruto again and alternate it with One Piece to avoid being burnt out of neither.

  I suppose it’s also worth mentioning that what is happening in the world sucks, no matter where. It feels easy to grow desperate when you know how powerless we are.

  Hello everyone! today is a special day because it marks the 12th birthday of my first real OC Mima! for the occasion, I did the coloration of the first ever drawing she had, even though I do not have the full version anymore.

• Diary 053: 4th September

  

  Hello to everyone reading this post, woohoooo… I feel like these two last months went very fast, good thing I am not doing anything of my life so I do not have to worry about school or whatever, lol…

  Honestly I feel so bored these days that I mustered enough strength of nothing to do to write this entry, it speaks of how high the boredom is.

  I am running out of things to watch at night, and I do not feel like booting my PS4 to play these days. As for the Switch, I play Mario Kart 8 online alongside Fire Emblem Three Hopes.
  
  Oh yeah, I started Honkai Star Rail and so far I love it much more than Genshin Impact… it’s funny how they put almost every QoL and just updated the energy cap on it before doing it to Genshin. I really love the games but seriously, that company needs to treat every of their fans right, especially when they know their success comes from Genshin. It just sucks that their only fantasy setting game is left to rot despite receiving story and map updates, the game is just a fucking chore unless you just do the story and get done with it, but hey, it’s not a review of Genshin so let’s move on.

  I kept on watching Boruto but I ran out of episodes in my language, so I am a bit frustrated. The Kara arc ended, I wasn’t excited at all when it started, but I am a bit sad that it ended since I know the most BS things of the show are to come soon after.

  Weather wise I am happy that things cooled down a bit, it feels refreshing to not be sweating everyday. I hope it’s the same for everyone.
  
  Some art colorations are in the work, and I should be doing a review or two in the month, so look forward for it. Good start of september to everyone!

• Diary 052: 19th August

  

  Hello everyone! I finally got the motivation to post a diary entry, yay! Only been 1 month since the previous one… That’s a nice record!
  
  So since the last one, nothing much happened due to the summer heat killing the motivation for everything productive, I am still working on colouring a drawing I started a few months ago, but it’s going along nicely.

  Games wise, I dropped Vermintide 2 after finishing leveling my main characters, I really loved it and will prob pick up again in the next months to keep going.

  Heroes of the Storm was nice, but being alone got boring fast, I think I will still do a few games here and there. Right now I am on Hearthstone since that PVE mode is apparently finished, and I am having a huuuge blast. It just feels like a normal turn per turn rpg and that is great to see how F2P friendly it is since you can just grind everything on your own pretty easily.

  Instead of Vermintide, I am playing Marvel Avengers, the pro is how easy the gear up is and the gameplay is more action packed, but it comes with very, very, repetitive content and missions, few environments and all. Can’t complain for how cheap I got it and since they gave every cosmetics free, so I just play a few missions everyday to have fun. Did not do the story yet.

  Also, it seems like a lot of my friends lost relatives these past months, so I want to say that I hope everyone reading this message will have better days. The world truly sucks these years.

  I know it has been a long time, but I did not feel like posting just a bit of monthly progress, that and laziness. I am now over 2 million GP since June, so here are some pictures I took back then.

• Diary 051: 10th July

  

  Well hm, it has been a while. I’ve been wanting to post since May but I never had the drive nor… something I wanted to say. I wanted to make reviews but yeah, never committed to it yet, but hello everyone!
  
  So, it is summer since not long ago and I suppose nearly everyone is suffering from the heat, I know most of my friends complained about it…
  
  These days I am trying to pick up back old games while committing to the usual ones I play since months, like Vermintide 2 and the gachas. I am trying back HotS and having a blast, while trying to set up a nice modded skyrim playthrough but I’ve been having some issues so yeah.

• Game Journeys 016: Star Wars GoH II

  

  I know it is a bit late but here I am for my second month of progress on Star Wars. As for Raid, I will post the current milestone and the past one. I hope you shall enjoy watching my progress even if you do not play it!

  In the end I did not do 4 G12/Gold outlines as expected but I did manage to make my Anakin go to G13/Blue outline, so I am satisfied. I feel like I really peaked in Arena and now Fleet, but my GAC arena, which is 4 vs 4 teams in a pvp league can be improved with some luck maybe?

  I have no real goals for that month I guess, but yeah, I will just do my best I suppose? I want a better empire team for sure. If I can G13 my Windu I would be very happy ahah.

• Diary 050: 2th April

  

  Ok hello everyone, I know that picture is probably the worst I could pick, but since it was April Fools recently, I thought it was relevant.
  
  Sorry for the little break I did, but yeah now I finally found the motivation to write a bit! What is new and what happened you might ask?
  
  Well, I started to watch Hajime no Ippo recently, currently on episode 21, again I may plan to do reviews someday, so I won’t say much, except that Takamura is my fav, because he is so goddamn cool looking, funny and badass.

  

  A very good anime about boxing so far, with many funny and intense moments, I recommend it to every shonen fan, since it follows some of its codes.
  
  Also what a coincidence, as I am writing this, I just noticed Part 4 of Jojo got on Netflix so I booted it up, and Josuke and him are the only anime characters I can think of with the same hairstyle, ahahah.
  
  I remember now, I also put this thumbnail picture because of how AI Presidents gaming videos are the rage since the last diary article, to be honest, I watch almost all the ones I can find and cannot help but laugh at them a lot. I also do not mind them a lot since I am not following politics much, so I just appreciate the characters for what they are. But yeah, I did already mention them before.
  
  PS4 wise, I have been playing Code Vein, Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise and Everybody’s Golf. I recommend all three of them, the first one is a Souls game in the God Eater’s universe, so it is very anime like but also a bit grim, Fist of the North Star is a Hokuto no Ken retell by the Yakuza developers, and Everybody’s Golf is just a very good and popular golf game.

  The Mario movie is coming up soon, I wonder if many of you will see it but I hope you will all enjoy it. Anyhow, I think it is enough for today, so have fun everybody and have a good week!

• Diary 049: 14th March

  

  Hey everyone! we are already only one week away from spring! I hope everybody is doing well. I quit Marvel Strike Force in favor of Dissidia and Granblue fantasy together, and I lessened my time in other games as well.
  
  Also, I started to boot up my PS4 again, but I mostly use my tv to watch youtube as I do stuff on my laptop and my phone, ahahah…
  
  Did you guys notice all of these AI Presidents videos online? I kind of enjoy them, and it is funny how many people try to offer different ones, but most sound and look like they were made by the same people due to reused assets.
  
  I am also thinking of playing an old Final Fantasy, but cannot settle on one. I will see in the next days.
  
  The weather and the motivation is not there for painting any models, but at least I did some burger cooking the other day!

• Game Journeys 015: Star Wars GoH I

  

  Ah finally! it is about time! A second Hero Collector game like Marvel Strike Force, and yet ANOTHER 5v5 turn based rpg. I originally wanted to post about that game when I got to 1m power, then when I started Marvel, but now I am at 1.5m, and it is time I finally talk about that game after alluding to it multiple times.

  I play that game since nearly one year, and I can say for sure I am dedicated to it, and that I still prefer it over Marvel, but if I have to compare the two, I will make a separate article someday.

  Just so you know, I am not a meta chaser, and as I said I play since nearly one year, I could not really say when, and I do not want to check for now.

  Here are my top characters and the teams I use, as well as my ranks in PvP:

  

  

  I will try to make either milestone based articles or monthly updates. Probably monthly just for the sake of my PvP rankings.

  Right now my goals are to start working on new characters since my Padme team is pretty alright, aside of counter teams. I spent months on it and I can see how lacking I am in other areas. I will try to make some G12 (gold outlines) coming up, probably not a Relic (blue/red outlines) that month, these are time consuming. If I can make 4 on that month I will consider it good enough progress.

• Diary 048: 3rd March

  

  Woo hoo! Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well this week! Suddenly, I got many many things to say in the next few days so I wanted to make a diary post to divide the multiple gaming posts that are coming.

  Since it does not warrant a post of its own, I can finally say I obtained the Shiny Ho-oh I spent so much time hunting for! It took me around 6000 resets I would say? combined with the resets for Suicune before I gave up on it. I named it Ikki for some obscure reference.

  I also picked up writing a little bit, but I intend to keep it private for now. No progress on my gaming system these past few days, but I did print some models at least.

  I just am happy I am sharing some nice stuff these days! So, good day everyone, I will try to post the rest soon!

• Game Journeys 014: Fire Emblem II – Fates II

  

  Welcome back everyone! I hope you are all doing alright on this fine day!

  I made a whole lot of progress on the playthrough I talked about last time, so I thought it would be nice to mention it before I finish the game so I can make a final article describing my final team on it.

  At Chapter 21 currently, I just unlocked Ophelia and Velouria and gosh they are OP. I spent all of my stats boosters on Camilla and Selena and they are going to be hard carries. Oddly enough, my Bernie/Corrin is the unit I can rely on the least due to a lack of HP regeneration, despite the high defensive stats. That and being range one does not help neither.

  Also, my Elise grew some levels to turn into a Malig Knight for funny reasons. Since my team is usually tanky and regenerate health by themselves, I usually just use Jakob/Flora to heal rarely before bosses. Elise is such a powerful magic user it is not funny, but gosh she is squishy. It is funny how Camilla and Elise are polar opposite in the same class.

  Going back on my ooold save, I made my Selena a maid, but I lack shurikenfaire on her, and castle codes are region locked, so I am fucked for now.

  The game is definitely easier later on due to how well I managed my exp, but it does make it feel less stressing to play.

• Game Journeys 013: Marvel Strike Force III

  

  Heya everybody! I finally completed my 3rd month in the game so it is time for more progress showing! the website went through changes so I will enlarge the roster screen!

  

  

  I was suspecting that my progress slowed down a bit but apparently not, it is just getting slower, but the increases are bigger to compensate so it is quite steady.

  Teams wise well, it is hard to showcase any but my Original Avenger team, I suppose you can say I have a Guardians of the Galaxy team but yeah, my Groot is quite weak and Star Lord is harder to unlock compared to Iron Man sadly.

  I am having fun participating in the events since my roster is enlarging, but yeah just like raid the best rewards are clearly meant for whales, but except that you do realize that the game always allow for higher milestones for rewards, and unlike Raid, you get the characters and upgrades materials one day or another anyway so it is not that bad to miss an event, usually you get good rewards in relation to how far you are in the game.

• Diary 047: 16th February

  

  Hello everyone! Valentine’s Day is already over since two days. I hope some of you who will be reading thise were able to spend a good day as a lovey bird!

  I was wondering what to write about on that day but since I am doing a whole lot of various things, I did not know what to focus on so I waited today, where I reminded myself that I did say I was rewatching all of Naruto and well, I did finish Shippuden since.

  If lazyness and lack of inspiration was not a thing, I would probably do a whole review of it but I suppose lack of visibility kind of makes it an useless thing to do.

  To be honest, I am just relieved to have been rid of it, and sorry to say this but it was fine to watch even after Madara appeared? I do feel compassion for those who waited each new chapter or episode weekly though, being able to watch 50 episodes in a matter of days is not the same as having only one to watch every week.

  I can say that the pacing was neither too slow nor too fast in the last arc, and I watched the fillers whenever they came up. Yes, they break immersion, but since I would be sleeping before or after watching them, it was not really bothering me too much.

  It is just like Berserk with the boat arc or the Granola arc of Dragon Ball Super, once it is done, you can just rush through it and enjoy it for how good or bad it was for real.

  Also, I am making progress in my tabletop game system, I do not know if I mentioned it before or not, but I will throw it here anyway. The basics are done but not the balancing, nor the testing, and things are still missing. I work on it one hour here and there.

• Game Journeys 012: Fire Emblem I – Fates I

  

  Hi to everyone! Since I do not have much things to say about Elsword due to the leveling being way too fast to warrant frequent articles, I decided to make some about Fire Emblem since I replay the 3ds games I have.
  
  I am doing a Classic Normal playthrough of Conquest for start, having made Bernie as Corrin as closely as I could. I am at Chapter 11 I think? I spent a hundred of turns punching the bosses of 8 – 9 to exhaustion so they can give me the most exp, and yet Chapter 10 was difficult ahah. I really wanted to visit all villages AND to take down Takumi and his retainers, basically doing all optional objectives when beating them only grants an elixir.
  
  Spreading the exp definitely helps out, and choosing if you want to be adjacent or paired up is definitely something to consider. I love the micro movement management you can make by separating and then rejoining next turn.

  It also goes without saying that I do not use online characters to cheat, I try to do it as fair as possible! Since it the start I doubt talking about characters I build would be interesting. I really hope to make Selena a beast though.

• Diary 046: 2nd February

  

  Hi to everyone! february marks its debut, and so I decided to post something because it has been one week since the last article! The days are going up and down, some being hypeful and some depressing, but no need to go into details about it.

  I will shortly post something about Elsword since I keep on making progress on it. Oh and, I sadly have no material to post about RetroAchivement since I am on a shiny hunt so… yeah, my bad I suppose…

  The weather is really cold around here and it is quite the burden, the other day I cooked some nice homemade burgers! I do not cook much, but whenever I do those, I am quite happy.

  I am also nearing the end of Naruto Shippuden, only a few dozen of episodes to clear it and I will take a break for a while.

  It has also been a while since I drew something but I cannot find the motivation for it, no one is really acting supportive and it does not help me out. I do have a tiny bit of progression in other projects so that’s better than nothing I guess.

• Diary 045: 26th January

  

  Hi everyone, I wanted to post something today, and decided a diary entry over a RetroAchievements one. It is already close to the end of january, but somehow, that month felt very long for me? to me it was almost as if we celebrated the new year last year. Joke aside, it does feel far away in my memory though.

  I made some progress in Naruto since last time but did not really touch games these 2-3 days. I kind of felt like making some social interactions instead for better or worse.

  This is also why I decided to use a fanart for the picture, at least the credit is within itself so no searches to make. I literally have no character official art I could relate my mood to or any game/anime I was really invested in today.

  Some people believe time is in constant progression, and some say that it is just a constant and that all points in time is connected. Somehow, whenever I think of the past, I end up crying and feeling a lot of melancoly and a feeling of being powerless. As if the way I felt back during certain events just came back within my body, as if that same point in time resonated with the present with the same intensity.

  Also, I get suggested a lot of articles from Quora about people in the same kind of mental condition as I have, everything about them tends to reinforce my powerlessness, due to most of them just confirmed the self reflection I have upon myself, and without a hope for the future. Society is really the main factor in just everything, if you cannot fit any part of it, you are really condemned.

  As I wrote the article, I literally managed to get sidetracked by more stuff to check on, so huh, I think it means I got nothing more to say. Have a good end of the month everyone and see you soon!

• Game Journeys 011: Marvel Strike Force II

  

  Hi everyone, since I do not have much to post about these days, I will share my progress on the Marvel game since it has been one month since the last progress in just a few days.

  

  Not many new faces in the top roster for sure, but hey, I did say Iron Man needed time but… not so much after all? It was kind of my most important goal to reach anymore. You unlock way more stuff as soon as you progress more though, so yes, it does speed up the leveling process for sure. Since I cannot max level and gain shards for many characters, I do not really bother min maxxing and making squads with good synergies yet aside of Avengers teams, for being pretty obvious I suppose.

  I will try to showcase squads later on maybe? Anyhow, see ya!

• Diary 044: 19th January

  I suppose it has been some days without any articles due to how sleepy I was lately, and without much to say to be honest. I am doing rather well and I hope that everyone reading feels the same too!

  These days, I am mostly waiting for the Fire Emblem popularity poll to finally show its results. At the same time I began playing Elsword again after many years, and I keep on watching Naruto, getting closer to the end little by little. I could do an analysis or speak my thoughts in details but yeah it would take dedicated articles for almost everything. And I do not want to spend half my time writing about how Naruto is made for real. But in short, everything Madara does is way too much, and Itachi and Sasuke scenes are just top notch without being too much. So far it does not feel too long, the pacing of Naruto is honestly rather perfect so far.

  Also, you cannot send files from bluetooth with an iPhone, and the charge cable isn’t an USB cable so you cannot plug it in to your laptop. Apple, sucks.

• Game Journeys 010: Raid VI – END

  Well, I did not want it to be like this, but the game leaves me no choice. What is up with the decision to end this series of articles? easy. I took a 10 days break to wait for the fusion event and potentially a x2 events for rare shards. So I log in, I see the x2 event and see the 4th anniversary event. Of course, I pull, I get unlucky, but it is not really an issue in such a long term game, luck will always even itself out.

  The issue I have, is the new update, and the anniversary itself. The rewards are absolutely abysmal. You need 70k+ points, got 3 months to get them. Easy you may say, 3 months to clear one big event should be plenty. You have to farm for HOURS each 2-3 days long events, with some being simultaneous and cannot be done at the same time at all, and of course energy is limited. Even if you manage to clear most of them, you will only have HALF the points for the 4th anniversary event. And of course, since energy is limited, even if you were willing to farm 16 hours a day, you can’t without paying. This event is just how to burn yourself out for the game and showing you for good that events, which should be something EVERYONE looks forward in a game, is meant to FRUSTRATE YOU. Having to pay to clear small events is not ok, having to pay to clear every small events and spending 10 hours daily doing so to clear one big event just for a 4* is definitely not ok.

  And the update also added plarium points. If you play on the app, and I daresay the app, you get 10 points a day on average… You need 25 000 of these points to get… one champion. Without its awakening. So you have to triple it. And of course said champion is apparently not great? oh or you can buy 2 500 points bundles worth… 60 euros each. Yup. They added a reward where you get less than 0.01% of currency to get a champion. That means that if the system was here from launch, you would not even be done. You just need 40 years to get that champion if you play 2 hours every day. GG. That or you can buy it for… 600e.

  Think of everything outrageously expensive you could buy with these, and oddly they do not look outrageously expensive anymore.

  If I did not like the graphisms, the character design and the kind of gameplay, I would have stopped the second they added a new upgrade to artefacts that depended on RNG, 4 years after launch, making already obtained artefacts a very high chance to suck even if they used to be almost perfect. And of course, by locking that upgrade behind a dungeon that costs the same energy as usual.

  Having to farm dungeons for gear, fine. Having to farm dungeons for leveling, fine. Having to farm one dungeon to awaken your heroes, ok, sure. But adding one dungeon to level up a skill tree, one dungeon to get currencies to make a gacha to unlock upgrades for specific champions, and one dungeon to add an upgrade to artefacts that you probably farmed the past months and even years that says if you have to refarm your artefacts and you cannot change that bonus stat ever? Nah.

  I quit Genshin due to how few primogems you got, and due to the artefact grind being boring as hell and how the main game has 0 content while events had so much cool stuff locked behind hours of text you can just see on youtube. That was way less than I now quit Raid for.

  I saw the opinion of people, and a lot of people clearly say that they want to milk it as good as they can. The only good thing I saw was that new legendaries champions have less cooldown reduction on skills up required. So again, a good thing for whales, to entice them to buy more pulls and make them stay. And hey that change only applies to like, one or two new champions anyhow, so they will have to pull hundreds and hundreds of time before getting them. More money spent that way!

  Like, really, if the game had no events, I would probably just prefer it because I would just focus on what I like instead of what events dictate me to do constantly for few rewards that I cannot even get most of the time. The game just wants you to feel like you missed out stuff that was basically showed as “free”. Other good events like that are the hero path events, you can look it up if you want.

  They managed to add 2 game mechanics that added RNG layers into upgrading your characters in just 3 months when the game had 3 years behind it, almost doubling the length of upgrading heroes and artefacts fully that way. And now they make these points to look forward to if you think you’ll ever get anything out of it before 40 years lmao. And of course, the 4th birthday event.

  Raid is as much of a joke in game than in the ads now. GG. And again, that was not my opinion during the first month of playing. The updates and constant events just really show off their intent with the game. If I started to play it, it is only because it stayed 3 years and still was popular, because yes, it used to be good and still was when I joined.

  Maybe I will log in whenever they offer legendaries, in the hopes the game becomes better someday, but as of now, I do not want to support that game anymore. I made these articles to show what people can hope to get if they were looking to play it, but I definitely cannot recommend that game. Play Summoner’s War instead or any game like this with an IP you like.

• Game Journeys 009: RetroAchievements III

  Well this is quite a good haul! I was able to get many rather rare achievements this time, here is the list before the details! I also started Mario Party but… RNG is kind of horrible.

  -Hardcore Points: 1313 (3573) to 1722 (5128) in total.

  -Super Mario World: 40 to 52 Achievements.

  -Star Fox 64: 26 to 31 Achievements.

  -Pokemon Crystal: 11 to 33 Achievements.

  -Mario Party 3: 1 Achievement.

  Quick update on Pokemon as it is mainly just story progress, the two roaming dogs were finally caught! Fire and Lightning I talked about spending hours trying to catch them on the diary entry of the 3rd January.

  Lots of things for Super Mario World though! Starman Challenge and Shortest Route were cleared at the same time! and then I did the hard challenge Who Needs Helium? and finally, today, I cleared the game 100% with All Exits!

  To finish, I was able to rack up 5 achievements by clearing Star Fox 64 on the Hard route, pretty fun.

• Arts Works 002: Scaly Duo Revamped

  Hey hey! this time I want to post two upgrades I made to two drawings, the design from Edlyn got cleaned a bit and got lined, and a NSFW picture of Strickle got shaded properly! • Mine Thoughts on 001: Naruto SD Rock Lee

  Hello everyone! this time I make an inaugural article for my reviews! Been more than a year since I wanted to try and review or give my opinion on some things but I did not want to bother too much and did not really know where to start. Hence I decided to cover the anime I am watching currently.

  Naruto SD Rock Lee and his Ninja Pals is a chibi styled comedy anime based on Naruto, as you guessed. It is actually the third or fourth time I am watching it! The show is so light and easy to follow that I usually put it in the background to have something to listen at.

  Its strengths are how secondary characters get quite a lot of screentime, especially the poor Tenten and Neji. Lee by himself is a great comedy relief, and he works in tandem with many of the characters as a comedy duo or group, mostly with his master Might Guy and his friends. The show also has quite a good share of heartfelt moments and offer good laughs, if you do like light comedy that is not serious at all most of the time.

  The show aired just around the War Arc of Naruto Shippuden, hence many of the characters appear in the show with the totality of the Akatsuki, who appear in some episodes. The only characters who did not appear as many times as they should would be Sasuke and his team, while Orochimaru and Kabuto are the main antagonists of the show. Sasuke could easily have had one or two episodes alongside them for sure. The show definitely contributed as what made Orochimaru a lighter and funnier character in the fillers of Shippuden later on, for better or worse. Personally, I do not mind that at all as they make very good antagonists in this show and feel very believable in how they act. But yeah, this goes along as my only reason for not recommending this show to the part of hardcore Naruto fans that never ever liked funny fillers and how some characters ended up less serious than they once were later on.

  Tenten definitely is another character to talk about, her personality really shining throughout the show as her role is to be the only down-to-earth character in the main cast. Her tomboy personality even went as far as to crossdress as a boy in one episode, being challenged that she was not a good woman for not having men around to protect her from harm.

  But yeah, I could describe many of the characters too, like Deidara, Neji, Tsunade, but all I can say is that most of them have good moments where they shine.

  The skits are well done and surprising most of the time due to how absurd they are, but they can transcribe slice of life moments and reality really well, which is a very good touch that makes it a must see for me, and something I do not get bored of even if I am now able to recognize what will happen next more or less.

  Just watch it if chibi style is something you like, if you like Naruto and if you enjoy not taking things seriously!

• Diary 043: 3rd January

  

  Hello everyone, figured I would post about my shitty life instead of posting about games again. The blog reached 5 subscribers from WordPress so big thanks to them! and to the few people who watch the blog more than once whenever I post updates!

  Things are going well, trying to make some progress on my personal projects, albeit veryyy slowly. I hope all of you are doing well too!

  I just spent hours trying to catch Raikou/Entei two days in a row for the achievements, and gosh, the rng is just plainly horrible even with a guide…

  Guild Wars 2 ended their Christmas event today, so this is one thing less to do, making me quite happy.

  Also, I had so many pictures in my download folder that I made a 2022 folder and divided them into their file type, this is making my folder load so much faster now lmao!

  I want to review other things in my blog but I do not know how to figure out how, and if it would even be interesting or relevant, so I will see later I guess…

• Game Journeys 008: RetroAchievements II

  Happy new year everyone! I did not feel up to write a diary entry due to personal issues dragging my mood down so I prefer to share my progress on RetroAchievements instead. I did think of waiting a bit more but apparently I did get quite some things going so… Here are the new points and achievements going.

  -Hardcore Points: 1044 (2539) to 1313 (3573) in total.

  -Super Mario World: 22 to 40 Achievements.

  -Star Fox 64: 17 to 26 Achievements.

  -Pokemon Crystal: 11 Achievements.

  I kinda reached a good stalemate from the first two for now, and I started Pokemon Crystal in the hopes to play Pokemon Stadium 2 soon, which requires me to catch pokemon first on the gbc games.

  Oh yeah, I also did the C2 – Katina Outstanding Service Medal achievement I mentioned on the last article, but it was hard because… bombs also damage your allies, and retrying costs one life.

  Pokemon Crystal is also interesting challenge wise with the gym achievements, the hardest I did so far was Plain Boring [m], I also failed the first gym because I did not pay attention to the Johto only pokemon condition, which does complicate the first areas due to a lack of good options.

  I do not know if I will have started other games until next time, but I do intend to progress on at least two of these three for the future article. Keep in touch!

• Game Journeys 007: Marvel Strike Force I

  

  Hello everyone! This is time for me to showcase another game I play frequently. I started around 1 month and a half I would say? I also will post another very similar game (that would make three of the same gameplay style with Raid, that one being purely gacha though) soon, and plan to compare both of them frequently too since I played that other one for about 8 months instead! Anyhow, here are my main characters for now.

  As you can see, quite a lot of popular characters are easily obtainable that fast. My personal choices did dictate some I would focus on, notably the guardians, Loki, Sam and Hawkeye for sure, but yeah it is not that hard to at least get 10-15 characters you like outright. The only con is Ironman which is someone you need to unlock through teambuilding a Shield team. Not that hard, but not that reachable in under a few days as well.

  You can also notice a lack of vilains in that screenshot, these too seem to take longer to unlock at the start. I am not going to make lists of unlockables and stuff, wikis and guides exist for it. The purpose of these articles is mostly to share my progress as well as to show the kind of account a casual player can hope to have, more or less.

  I can say that I find the game very chill once you unlock most of the gamemodes, not being able to complete events feel way less frustrating than in raid since you know that you will eventually unlock characters one way or another with time.

  If you plan to invest on that game, I can say for sure that it is good to check up on guides and in which ways you should use your currencies efficiently! On one currency, I find random character shards to be good in the long run, for another one it is a complete scam. I verified that and well, I was correct. So it is better to give yourself some time not to stress about it, but once you get doubts about if what you do is good or not, feel free to look up online!

  That should be enough for that first article, I believe that monthly updates may be how I will post about that game, or milestones. We will see!

• Diary 042: 24th December

  This is a mandatory christmas post to wish every one of you a good christmas day! I spent the entire night doing my dailies twice in every game so that I won’t be missing any this evening, I feel quite exhausted due to it.

  It kind of feels hard to add much to that, since I try to keep other matters into other articles to try and talk a bit more about them. Well, I guess I can say that I hope that this evening will go down well.

  Recently, I mainly focus on finding new things to farm in Guild Wars 2 alongside its christmas event, it is a bit of a fun thing to do I guess. I also watched some stuff, but I do not feel like going into details for now as it is still ongoing.

  A lot of stuff went down in the family recently, more bad than good, so I cannot say that my mood is perfect for sure.

  At any rate, you can expect a lot more of gaming articles coming up quite soon, and maybe some new stuff! Until then, see you later everybody!

• Game Journeys 006: Raid V

  Ah shit… here we go again. These last 2 weeks went smoothly, a fusion event started, and I can really tell that Raid does everything to prevent free to play players to get a lot of rewards, despite me not being in endgame yet. I only got 5 dupes of the rare champion out of like, 8 I should have if I had completed everything? And you need 16 in total to get the legendary character. Luckily, I am content with just picking one or two epic champions once it is over so… Anyhow, here is my box progress for these last two weeks!

  I am quite impressed at how steady the progress is, despite how few I feel like it goes. Now for the top characters again…

  Teams must have got reequilibrated when I did some matches, but mostly the total power is really what I care about when it comes to show that so… Anyway, void shard bonus comes on today, so maybe I will get to rack up an epic at least, it would be nice! see you next time!

• Game Journeys 005: RetroAchievements I

  Hello to everyone! This time I want to inaugurate my progress on a website called RetroAchievements! Basically, this is a website that partnered with emulators to allow a whole lot of retro games to have achievements, created by experienced players, to collect and have fun playing older games by setting goals for them.

  I have been on it since two months already, totalling 1044 hardcore points, which are basically when you complete an achievement without uses of cheats and savestates.

  These days I focus on Star Fox 64, sadly using a keyboard, and Super Mario world. I think it might be best for sequential articles to post a list of games I actively play and how many achievements I got so here we go:

  I could talk about how good the games stay but I might prefer to cover games I really love in details later on. I can say that both are a blast to play, over and over, and that some of the achievements used in them are very imaginative and fun to try, notably the “Friendly” Fire achievement on Star Fox 64 which makes you kill 80+ ally ships on the Katina mission, which is potentially a nightmare due to losing your upgrades if you retry, because the mission is time gated. Another achievement has you having to complete it without a single ally kill, which is something I want to do.

• Diary 041: 13th December

  Hello everyone, decided to post a small entry today just to banter. I hope most of you reading this got their gifts ready, as the weather goes colder and colder. It really would suck to do the shopping last minute! I guess amazon is really great for that. I wish I could get paid to say that though…

  I recently, more like yesterday, unlocked the jumpy jumpy rabbit mount in Guild Wars 2 after a bit of a grind, so I am rather pleased. I am taking a break from Fortnite and Overwatch 2 since their new seasons started, which allow me to focus on retro gaming a bit, so yeah. May have to start writing about that too actually, but I am way too lazy.

  Also, I have been thinking of printing more minis but I cannot decide, so I guess I should stick with what I have already lmao. Anyhow, I hope you are all having a good week!

  Oh yeah, my mood is not totally the best, between what happens in the world and the lack of empathy of people online, I have been pretty short tempered lately. I really hope it improves because I would rather chill for once. Would be fitting with this season too…

• Game Journeys 004: Raid IV

  Hello everyone! it is already time for another update of my progress on RAID! A new legendary log-in event is up so obviously, I got it since I logged in seven days already. I also claimed the amazon prime epic champion. There was an epic champion event but yeah, Raid does not seem free to play friendly about those. The grind required definitely goes beyond the daily energy you receive.

  As I said before, I will now use tag arena to show off my 12 strongest characters instead of just 4!

  There is definitely a gap between the top team and the bottom one for sure, ahahah. Also, the artefact awakening update just hit today and… well… for pve players like me, it is cool because we may be able to reach higher content easier but… the awakening is basically a random stat added to an artefact, and that CANNOT be rerolled. So for everyone who farmed nearly perfect artefacts… they now have around 33 percent of chance to stay good. I saw some maths behind it and yeah, you may be luckier in the lottery than for having a very good artefact now… Definitely a step back, and apparently the very few gachas who dared to add a feature like that ended up dying because whales would feel scammed and dump the game. So, I will take it happily for myself as I get into middle game, but I definitely do not like the random factor to it and I feel bad for everyone with thousand of hours farming good sets.

• Diary 040: 2nd December

  Yay, it is finally time for holidays… and the world cup, and other stuff. I hope you are all doing good while cold is settling in for most rich countries. We did not use radiators here yet to save up electricity but it does start to suck. Relatives also contaminated me three weeks ago and I am still a tiny bit sick, so that is why I sadly did not post these past weeks.

  The Fortnite season ends today, so I will farm all day since I totally ignored that one due to burnout of the game. I also get slightly tempted to go back to Genshin but I will hold it off, apparently the farming is just as boring as earlier even if the game got more content.

  So right now it is just gachas, Guild Wars 2 and Overwatch 2. I wish you all a good week and all for now, bye bye!

• Game Journeys 003: Raid III

  Hello everyone! I am still recovering from a sickness so I will make this update even shorter and quicker than usual. A lot of pulls were made due to the x2 rate event happening, aside of that not much happened. I did take a break while I was sick though.

  Since the main team progression is going slower, I will use team arena to showcase more characters in possible later on. The game is still fun, and maybe leveling new characters will make content easier soon, as I did not try to push it further recently. On that note, goodbye!

• Diary 039: 11th November

  Alright so it is time for another small diary entry. Nothing much has happened since last time, mainly having farmed the Halloween event of Guild Wars 2 before it ended and continuing Overwatch 2 among other stuff. My mood is improving a bit I would say? and I am on the way to color some drawings and such.
  
  Around here, I can tell the weather is getting a bit colder. Speaking of the sky, Mars and Jupiter were able to be seen at night without the need of a telescope, I also got to see a shooting star! This really surprised me and I got excited about it.
  
  I also want to talk more about games in details but heh, it would deserve longer and dedicated articles lol. All I can say is that I like Kiriko in Overwatch I guess? So yeah, that is that. See you around!

• Game Journeys 002: Raid II

  Hello again dear readers! This is now the end of my first 4 weeks of playing the famous Raid Shadow Legends! On the last article we had the covering of the first 2 weeks, now we can move onto the two new ones.

  I was able to snatch 2 epics thanks to the sacred scrolls obtained in the campaign mode, despite the x2 rates for legendary champions, no luck. I am still on the average rate for not having obtained one yet, but yeah it is a bit frustrating on that part. I was able to make 2 rank 5 during these weeks though!

  A nefty 50% upgrade is not too bad considering that gachas like these tend to give out a lot at the beginning and then not much afterwards, meaning that as of now, the progress is still able to be felt.

  I still play casually, I do not have a good guild to progress into, just a normal one I would say? No gems were used on refreshes and all, only to upgrade the gem mine, for now I will save up until I need it. I also do not follow guides yet, so I would say this is pretty much the kind of account you can expect, knowing that aside Ultimate Deathknight and my Epic Bald Barbarian, I only use f2p units as of now. This ends the progress of these two weeks! See you next time!

• Diary 038: 2nd November

  The spooky season seems to be over… despite me not seeing much of it being on TV and Christmas stuff already being everywhere. A bit sad really. Anyway, I hope every one of you are fine. I recently broke up with my lover, despite me loving them still, so, I am not at my best really.

  My motivation seems to be back though, I more and more want to focus on myself a bit more, since well, no one around me seems to care at all. Right now I play some old games on retroarch so that is that. Also giving Overwatch 2 a good try despite the monetization being utter trash…

• Game Journeys 001: Raid I

  Hello everyone. So I decided to try and report periodical progress on some of my games, mainly gachas. I recently restarted an account for Raid Shadow Legends to see how worth the game was in the long run. Below you can see my accounts at Week 1 and then Week 2. I play STRICYLY Free 2 Play on that game and I do not intend to change that. So you can use these posts as a way to project how a casual account would look like by that time.

  Please note that I started as there was a legendary character offered for free. It won’t always be the case but still. Most of my progress is done thanks to my starter hero anyway

  Here is my current arena comp as well for defense! Week 1 and 2 like for my Box.

  Leveling characters quickly slows down as ranks are slow to come by as you see. Most of week 2 was used to get an epic character from events, and leveling artefacts for the main group.

  I think it is all I have to say. The game is fun, auto mode works wonders. Just being careful about dungeons rotations if you plan to do limited fusions, even to obtain a 4*. Had to spend 200 gems just to open one. Sucks. See you around!

• Diary 037: 1st September

  Hello everyone, been a while once again. I suppose that writing for a blog no one really reads just is not that motivating in the end. My personal troubles lessened a bit these days, but it is still not as good as I want them to be.

  I was able to draw something the past weeks, and printed some failed terrain pieces for tabletop, I expect to be able to try and paint a bit in the later weeks.

  Gaming wise, these days I am mostly on rpgs and mmos, mainly Guild Wars 2 I would say, after taking a break from World of Warcraft and its boring grindfest.

  Aside of that, not much of interest, oh yeah, I have been playing Fire Emblem Three Hopes since its release and enjoying it as much as I can, I even created a small guide for it but I am not entirely satisfied yet.

  I hope to produce more content in the future months, but I do not have much hopes or certainty in those regards.

  I am more of a classic shonen guy for the most part, I like the big 3 so One Piece, Dragon Ball, Naruto. Jojo as well of course. The only newer one I used to enjoy is My Hero Academia. I also adore Seven Deadly Sins for its setting as well as Fairy Tail.

  I also enjoyed Evangelion, Stein’s’Gate, Hajime no Ippo and Miss Kobayashi’s Maid Dragon. Black Butler was also a great anime for me when I was younger. Berserk is also something I vouch for but it is not for everyone.

  For more obscure stuff, I also am a vivid fan of Interspecies Reviewers.

  Cartoons wise, I watch South Park, Avatar The Last Airbender, Rick and Morty and The Simpsons mostly.

  Movies/Series:

  Not much there, I watch some movies here and series here and there but I do not have many fandoms. I prefer Marvel over DC but I like both, and I am a vivid fan of Star Wars.

  Games:

  A lot will be omitted for now. I am mostly into Jrpgs, Fire Emblem, Tales of, Ys, Final Fantasy, Disgaea, Neptunia, Granblue Fantasy and Dragon Quest mainly. Most of Nintendo’s universes appeal to me as well. Aside of that I play a lot of everything, Monster Hunter comes to mind.

  I play a fair share of fighting games, mostly a fan of Guilty Gear and Blazblue.

  I also am an enjoyer of Musou games, so anything like Dynasty Warriors is something I appreciate. I did play the Fate Extella one despite me not watching any Fate anime. The Fire Emblem ones are good but the Three Hopes one is sadly incomplete. The Hyrule one, at least the one is definitely a must have!

  Doki Doki Literature Club is very nice in my books, Touhou was part of my childhood and I still am very fond of it, still playing some of the main games and fangames from time to time! Undertale is still nice to hear of. Warcraft as well.

  Aside of gachas, I mostly played Guild Wars 2, Overwatch 2, Limbus Company and Fortnite as Free to Play games.

  For more obscure things, I worship Monster Girl Quest, and for creepy stuff, Fnaf of course as well as Corpse Party.

• Diary 036: 9th May

  Hello guys! Today is officially Gohan day, with Goku day being yesterday and Goten day tomorrow. I also heard there was a comic book day so yeah. That was way too many holidays for a week like what the hell?

  Anyhow. I would like to make a rant, which I might or might not separate from diaries if I have other content to say about my life or not.

  I just am tired of most youtubers. Like really. This time in particular, I am angry at anime youtubers. More specifically, theorists.

  Some of them are very good at being logical and actually making a point, and just like in every type of youtubers, most are just pure clickbaits.

  In that case it was about if games spoiled elements of the upcoming DBS movie, based on gachas. Where new units are released bi weekly. Dragon Ball is not a huge universe so yes, with the movie involving the red ribbon army, Gohan, Piccolo and the main cast, it is not relevant to call a hint whenever a character tied to them releases. Like, at all. Seeing a reference or hint where you could do that about pretty much anything is basically an asspull. What is worst is that by calling everything a hint or a spoil, you will certainly end up being right because out of the hundred of things you said that are clues, one will end up being real. It is like buying all the lottery tickets and then boast that you won.

  I won’t even indulge about how titles and thumbnails were used, because everyone knows that kind of clickbait and is aware of it.

  So please, when you make what ifs or theories, try to be logical and care about the material and sources you do.

  Aside of that I will work on upcoming articles regarding my interests and what materials and fandom so that you people can try to hit me up about something if you want.

• Diary 035: 5th May

  Hello! Did not expect to write so soon but here we are. For Star Wars day I watched the entirety of The Book of Boba Fett following episode two, I loved it all and for the same reasons as the whole fandom did.

  Aside of that, it is the birthday of May from Guilty Gear so I thought I should also share some thoughts about fighting games. I mainly played Blazblue and Guilty these last years alongside DBFZ, but I recently bought Street Fighter V with all the DLCs, I was shocked to see how normal moves did not link into each other like most Arc System games. It made me think I was actually trash so I looked it up. Most people I saw were elitists who said linking is a great mechanic and told casuals to just leave their game alone.

  I mean, fighting games are less of a niche because of Arc System games, which are just as deep if not deeper than what SFV has to offer. I did stick for some hours and figured out a few links, but globally it is not very rewarding nor satisfying to have a very few frames to do a 2 hits combos that barely does anything. I can agree that the slow pace and short combos does make the fights more strategical over your movements and on the mind gaming aspect though.

  I definitely believe that a core gameplay that can be picked off easily to then dig deeper into characters specific properties and moves is better than having to learn all links for every characters. Hours of practice for doing 3 hits combos reliably for EACH character is just a chore if you rely on your eyes to see the frame of the sprite for which you can now prepare the next move.

  Name: Mima

  Age: Mid 20s

  Occupation: Velius’ Maid

  Mima grew up as an orphan in a gloom city before being welcomed into Meiru’s aunt mansion as a maid to shelter her. Years later she would meet Velius as she got there as well, the two bonding fast as friends. When the latter would leave for her adventures Mima would always be following her to assist her until they got a home of their own, tending to it afterwards while her friend isn’t there.

  She is proefficient in martial arts and in using her tools in battle as well as her trusted spear, wearing different kind of dresses whether she fights or stay at home. It is also known that she uses white healing magic to tend to her friends if they are injured.

  Her skills as a maid are almost unmatched, as good at tending to cleaning and cooking alike. Serviable, caring and friendly, Mima is the perfect friend everyone can rely upon.

• Diary 033: 26th October

  Wow wow wow! Hello everyone, I am back for a diary post this time. The last months have been pretty wacky to be honest.

  I keep on being a bit worried about my various hobbies with ideas going left and right so no much to say about that.

  The same thing goes for gaming, gachas take way too much of my time and it is not very interesting to talk about.

  As for Netflix I just watched the first season of Detective Conan, caught up with Casa de Papel and watched Squid Game! Everything was great so check these things out whenever you can!

  I just hope my situation here improves, it sucks to have projects that you cannot even bring yourself to work on due to stress…

• Original Characters 004: Sylvia

  Name: Sylvia

  Race: Cat Hybrid

  Age: Early 20s

  Occupation: WhiteJack’s Guildmate (Sabercats team)

  Sylvia is a dynamic and energetic young feline, the youngest member of the Sabercats team and yet one of the most efficient person of the guild. She cannot stand spending her days doing nothing so she usually chains up missions by missions and works way more than any other member.

  Using weapons in pairs, her style is very flashy and amazing to look at. Watching her beat up foes makes people in awe at her prowess not to mention her acrobatics.

  She holds a close relationship with Edlyn due to being the youngest of their teams and due to how complementary their personalities are. Both also like how their colors match.

• Original Characters 003: Meiru

  Name: Meiru

  Race: Vampire

  Age: Early 20s

  Occupation: Vampire Princess

  Meiru is heir to the throne of the vampire race. While she is bratty, spoiled and usually cold, she is still pure of heart and by no way a bad person. One of the main comrade of Velius, Meiru always try to surpass her and has helped her a lot during her journey. She is also the mistress of Senka and a few other people, even though she lets them mind their business most of the time.

  Her strengths involve the manipulation of blood, ice and she masters whips and rapiers perfectly in combat. A high succubus also taught her how to push her lewder arts beyond what she was capable of. She is certainly not to be taken lightly at all.

  As her kind do not drink blood and are freed from their curse since a while, due to her behaviour, Meiru tends to flirt with people she deems interesting and may lust after them. In these cases she will show to be dominative and a bit sadistic in a harmless nature, but she does crave for people to overpower her sometimes.

• Diary 032: 5th August

  Hello everyone and welcome for another diary entry! Most people are probably going on vacations soon so I wish them a good time in advance. The harsh heat is definitely something to look out for though so be careful.

  I caught up with the Mandalorian last night and loved it all the way through. No wonder why everyone is fond of it for sure. Aside of that the days are dull as always, nothing much to play. If gaming did not exist, maybe I would be more productive, who knows.

  I also watch Doctor Who little by little. Oh yeah, Blizzard and Games Workshop are finally getting a piece of what they deserve. It is good to see that bad companies get punished sometimes.

• Diary 031: 23rd July

  Hello everyone! Today is a very big day for Dragon Ball fans as the next movie will be previewed tonight!

  The last days have been very hot here and I was jumping high and low mood wise. But some action is really kicking lastly.

  I steadily improve myself on Fighter games mainly Dragon Ball Fighter Z, maining Vegeto Blue aka Deleto Blue and Gogeta Blue due to their high combo potential. I am nearly mastering jump cancels after years!

  Pokemon Unite also launched that game and I am having a blast except when I get bad team mates and need to face a strong team, often being the mvp of the match but still ending up losing, welp.

  After watching the Simpsons for weeks straight I am juggling it up with some Futurama since I never watched it again after years, I am having a blast between gaming sessions.

  I also began reuploading short videos on my Youtube but I prefer to link it to my blog officially later on.

• Gacha Gotcha 003: Summer Hits

  Hello everyone! After the cold comes the heat and I do not think a lot will enjoy it this year. After finally pulling fir Summer Laegjarn and getting Hilda and Marianne on the free pull I am focusing on trying to get dupes for our goddess Byleth.

  Oh I also was lucky to get Freyja pretty quickly too! The mommy material is way too real with this one.

  I am also happy that Fischl is the Genshin rep that got on Honkai Impact as my phone is too weak for the former and they won’t bother with the switch version despite an announcement since way too many months…

  Getting back into Dragon Ball Legends since near a month and I have been blessed with many awesome characters including many Legends Limited like UI Goku, SSJ3 Goku, “Kid” Buu, SSJ2 Gohan.

  While all of this is good, I kinda hate the grinding as time goes bad in all those games, it feels like the same any other day instead of being more productive. I kind of miss when you still could really play a game at your own pace without loss.

• Hobby Logs 004: Very Little Progress

  Half a year and there was a bit less progress than expected. I successfully painted only three marines, a genestealer and the old Celestine model. I might have painted a last model but I do not even remember if I did… oh wait, a nurgling!

  I really should do more if I just was not lazy and had a nice place to paint them on but hey I won’t complain.

  Aside of that I started a solo campaign of Age of Sigmar Soulbound. It is funny how the third edition seems to sell badly right now.

• Original Characters 002: Senka

  Name: Senka

  Race: Lich

  Age: Unknown

  Occupation: Necromancer/Alchemist

  Residing in a deserted mansion, Senka leads her researches on necromancy and alchemy as her loyal lustful and ever watching zombies and other undeads patrol the way to her underground laboratory. Discovered by Meiru as she ventured around, Senka ought to make her into an experiment subject of high quality before being utterly defeated and forced to accept the vampire as her mistress.

  Her constant teasing and her bigger curves making her mistress annoyed and avoiding her, the lich remains pretty free of her actions, returning to her home often or doing her experiments in her mistress’ residence instead. She does not remember much of her past or pretends not to, hence making it hard to guess if she was once of human nature or if she was already a lich at the start of her existence.

  Even if her petite but busty features and her childish tone hints to her being innocent and pure, she would not hesitate to use anyone trespassing her home as a guinea pig or another subject, from a night to months and beyond. She will not go as far as to kill but some changes, temporary or not are always to be expected if you stay too long around her without anyone to put a leash on her thirst of scientifical endeavours.

• Diary 030: 1st July

  Hello everyone! I had decided to do a break out of boredom and lack of inspiration, not to mention how hard it was to keep up with when I broke my last phone.

  The last months haven’t been out of the extraordinary, no painting but I did play some new games. WordPress also added a story system like instagram so maybe I will try it out someday. I won’t have a set schedule for my next posts but I will try at least one post a week. Codeword try.

• Diary 029: 12-18th March

  Hello everyone! This week I was mostly at my brother’s place so it was quite different than usual.

  Aside of familial stuff, I played on the PS4, mainly The Crew 2. Since I was young, I always liked cars for some reason so I did play numerous car games before. However I did not like how realistic most went even in the gameplay. The arcade and multiple modes or types of vehicles really make this game the best racing game I ever played since years.

  There is not much to be added since I am not really able to do many things in here. I can add that I bought Pyra and I have a lot of fun playing as her and Mythra in Smash. I heavily recommend her!

  I hope to find courage to find more things to say next time.

• Diary 028: 5-11th March

  Everyone talks in good or bad due to the next DLC for Smash Ultimate. Pyra and Mythra are certainly a popular choice that will please Nintendo fans among myself!

  I actually want to discuss about the bad reception. As I read, people just probably did not play the game and judge them without knowing unfairly. I can say that by experience that it is true.

  When Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was announced, I was literally raging about it for a long time, the anime artstyle being out of place for the series, Rex being young while looking involved with Pyra who is overly mature and sexy… I automatically saw it as cringey and an awful disrespect to the franchise, added to the fact that the artist does draw hentai.

  Some years later I did decide to buy the game when it was on sale since I needed a game that I would play for a long time. And it proved me wrong. Rex is not the usual cringey hot-blooded protagonist and is really mature. His relationship with Pyra/Mythra is more than just ecchi and shotacon and is well done and profound. The story is great, the environment so well done that people compared it to Pokemon Sword and Shield to prove how bad Game Freak messed up. The music is also a monster piece each time I discover a new theme.

  I did not go far in the story since I main Tora who is a tank, and I prefered to just wander in the wild.

  The same thing also happened with Fairy Tail due to haters. Long story short, I feel bad for having misjudged it and I can understand haters that see this new DLC as bad, in the case of fighting games, each slot in the roster taken is a seat that someone else won’t sit on. Places are limited. But please do not misjudge a character and label it without knowing it enough. To me, hating Steve for how bland he is as a character is way more justifiable or judging a character with its galeplay not being that original is better.

  Pyra and Mythra are good characters, and I once hated them so I know my stuff.

  Aside of that the week went smoothly, and I started painting once more, I will post some pictures of it once squads are done.

• Diary 027: 26th February-4th March

  We attack the third month of the year now!

  Luckily we are still not on lockdown for now even though we are not allowed to go out past the afternoon.

  I mostly play on my phone and added Pokemon Masters in my list of games I am playing and I got lucky enough to get Leon right away.

  Also, I look at hobby tutorials to amp up my motivation for painting but it does not work enough yet.

• Diary 026: 19-25th February

  Hello everyone! The beginning of that week was tough due to the phone issue but I am slowly feeling better.

  The main issue was that I was unable to use smartview despite the phone being newer. It caused me two days of pain as I tried to get around it until I just did not care anymore.

  Luckily the screen is bigger even though the colors are off but I am being more and more used to it.

  The added memory and better system makes me being able to play games I could not and I am having a blast about it. I will probably cover it in more details in another Gotcha Gacha. For now I am mostly on 7 Deadly Sins and Genshin Impact.

  Slowly, things get better and I hope it will stay that way!

• Diary 025: 12-18th February

  Well, I do not really know how to cover this article. My phone went down on monday and I lost some progress on it. I got a new one today but it does not feel the same at all.

  In the meantime I bought and played Hyperdimension Neptunia VII. Unlike most who discovered the series on PC, I actually own the very first game on PS3. It is funny to see how the gameplay evolved more than once.

  Hence, not many things happened these days, I just felt empty and did not even try to go back to social medias. Valentine did not help my mood either but I hope that yours went well!

  I will cover more things on the next weeks for sure, once I am going to feel better.

• Diary 024: 5-11th February

  The second month of this year continues and looks pretty well so far.

  After a bit more of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon I finally decided to hop on Dragon Quest IX.

  I did not forget the beginning was pretty grindy but it is as enjoyable as I remembered.

  I hanged a bit earlier in the week, seeing family makes me happy more than usual because of the pandemic.

  There is not much I can add about this week so I hope you will all have a happy valentine this sunday!

• Diary 023: 30th January-4th February

  Time to start off february with the good stuff.

  Of course, we made crepes and they were delicious as the holiday obliged. I will probably make others soon to satisfy my appetite.

  My playthrough of Fire Emblem 12 and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2 are both done. I am still on the later though to unlock team members and doing optional dungeons.

  I will probably return to FE12 to try out stuff in a later date. The next game I will do is probably Dragon Quest 9 since I put it aside.

  As for Warframe I farmed a lot of exp and money while unlocking the Sanctuary and the Cambion Drift open area. I really start to enjoy the game more and more! I even got my hands on the popular Dethcube Prime.

  For that next week I will find new weapons to level up and try out while progressing in some contents.

• Diary 022: 22-29th January

  This week was mainly focused on gaming instead of watching things.

  My playthrough of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky goes well as I already finished the first half of the storyline and recruited Dialga after fighting him in his non primal form.

  I am having fun so far even though recruitment is pretty late game and that the game favors the use of your main pokemon as well as legendaries.

  As for my run of Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem, I am almost at the end of it as I am currently arena farming my characters. Catria is the unit that carried me the most due to her mobility and nice stats as well as growth rates.

  Again, the balance feels wack as most early units will be stronger by the time you get new ones with similar classes. I plan to use Katarina as much as I can in the last chapters of the game.

  So far I failed to recruit no one since I pay attention to it and will certainly continue to do so.

  On Warframe I finally defeated my first world boss as well alongside randoms to finish a quest. It was long buy fun. It is a shame nothing tells you about how these fights work but hey, it is a trait that is well known for that game.

  Most of my characters possess an angelic color scheme. I think it looks good on almost everyone and it looks heavenly which gives a nice feel to it.

  Loneliness and boredom still are a big part of these days but I do my best to manage in these tough times. May your week has been kind to you.

• Gacha Gotcha 002: New Year stuff

  Since it has been one month since the first article I thought it would be nice to put some stuff I got.

  I got Ifrit from the 1st Anniversary Arknights banner as well as all necessary dupes for Elysium. I also bought the awesome Lappland outfit. These days I mostly max my main characters to be able to deal with harder events. I will show off my team in details when it is done.

  On Fire Emblem Warriors, I was happily surprised to see a new Katarina soon after I built mine since I got into FE12 recently. New Years Plumeria is also mine!

  I built off my Aether Raids defense using Winter Bernie and her friends and plan to make a bowl purple hair team using Bernie, Morgan and Katarina soon for fun. My focus has been on making fun builds and teams due to the exp bonuses events.

  That is what made me the most happy these days, I will focus on features of my teams in the next time for sure!

• Diary 021: 15-21st January

  Hello there! Turns out that January is going to be over soon already.

  At the opposite of what I said last time, it turns out that I tried all the games I said and even found a reliable way to play my DS games again.

  These days, I mostly play Fire Emblem Warriors by trying to max out my favorite characters while doing some games of Mario Kart 8 and a bit of Octopath Traveler.

  On my phone, I stick with Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2, doing it for the 4th time in my life. I normally pick Treecko for the partner but swapped it for Piplup this time.

  I am also working on some ideas these days but boredom kind of blocks everything and my mood with it.

• Hobby Logs 003: Nurgle and spray

  Little update as I received some issues of Warhammer Conquest, fitting with the Nurgle releases and how it led me to build my Plague Crawler minus its weapons since I do not want to pick them yet.

  Also, I recently received Chaplain Tarentus, which I built and put next to the Indomitus chaplain for comparative.

  I am also torturing my mind about buying a Macragge Blue spray for my Ultramarines or not. Not that I feel like painting.

• Diary 020: 8-14th January

  One could say that on this week I was pretty much lost between boundaries.

  Not knowing what to do, Youtube decided to give me throwbacks at Dragon Quest and also older Fire Emblem. Not having a working ds though, I sadly can not even bring myself to enjoy Dragon Quest IX again for the time being.

  Getting also tired on my phone, I quickly realized how all good games are also too huge for it or plain unavailable, such as Genshin Impact who is 4 months late on Switch and counting.

  And to say Dragon Quest XI was on sale not long ago… welp.

  One of my ideas is to pick up Octopath again or replay Fire Emblem Warriors. Considering how I try a bit of everything to evade my boredom, it is unlikely!

• Diary 019: 1-7th January

  2021, here we are! Albeit a bit late to the party but hey, the thought is here!

  Trying to find a thumbnail was awfully hard so I used the “Ox” girl from Granblue Fantasy since she does represent and thus embody 2021 well.

  I started to play Fire Emblem 12 once more, trying to recruit everybody. The difficulty is so uneven it makes the game very wonky.

  As a first purchase this year, I got myself the wonderful Volume 2 of the Monster Girl encyclopedia. It will come in handy for numerous studies.

  The book was sadly a tad damaged at the corner, some sly fox must have tried to steal it from the post office or something.

  Warframe wise I got my first Prime chatacter, so I made my best trying to give her nice colors to give her an angelic feel! Titania may be the fairy queen but she is still a heavenly figure!

  Also, diaries will now be posted once a week. Other articles can be anytime whenever I feel like it, but normally you can expect one each week alongside the diary one.

• Diary 018: 23-31st December

  Sorry for the long hiatus, I needed some breaks due to the holidays and also thought that daily posts were a bit overloading me.

  At any rate, I hope that all of you had a great holiday season and that you were able to stay safe at the same time.

  As you can see here, I got pretty spoiled this year, and giving out gifts also made me incredibly happy. Seeing smiles upon people faces and their gratitude really does wonders!

  As for new year, I spent it alongside my mother and we just chilled and took time making things to eat before spending hours on the phone. Shame on those who broke lockdown rules and partied with dozen of people.

• Diary 017: 21-22nd December

  And yet another week going slowly once more.

  Monday was about gaming and chilling. Nothing much happened aside of more progress on gachas and warframe.

  On tuesday, I continued to watch Fairy Tail as we got our new couch during the day. I began the Oracion Seis arc which means we finally get to meet Wendy!

  Once things settle down I hope that I will be more motivated to do stuff.

• Diary 016: 19-20th December

  This is officially the last week-end before the long awaited christmas. Both days were as entertaining as the other and there is a bit to say about them.

  Saturday was mostly about watching gaming parodies while grinding on Warframe, by beginning to make my own guild HQ since you need one to get some upgrades and new weapons.

  Sunday however was a long marathon of watching two very long movies, one being Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King and Solo: A Star Wars movie.

  The finale of the LotR trilogy was of course as good as it promised to be, with lots of suspense, drama and of course awesome moments that became so iconic throughout the years after the release of the movie. I am glad to finally know these references.

  Solo was the space western movie on Star Wars I wanted and it did deliver. While not as badass and cool as the first episodes I saw of The Mandolarian, exploring the backstory of the main cast is a huge mine of lore. It adds a lot of depth to them, uncovering their mysteries about how they were before.

  And gosh Emilia Clarke is just as magnificient as ever! I hope we get to see more of her character. Lando was also a very cool one I did not see much about and I enjoyed both scenes with him gambling. Such a good playboy character.

• Gacha Gotcha 001: Winter is coming

  Welcome to this new kind of article, centered into my gacha progress and some things I am hyped about!

  To start things up, christmas is starting on most free to play games but what I am most excited about is Fire Emblem Heroes and the awesome and moe looking christmas Bernie!

  Also, I am a bit late but Granblue Fantasy offers 10 pulls each day! I missed more than a week of those but hey, it is better than nothing. Here are who I got so far!

• Diary 015: 17-18th December

  You know. It is actually quite hard to write different things each day when they look like the same.

  On these two days I did various things actually, but not enough in each of them to warrant an article for each of them.

  In thursday, I tried out the mining, hunting and fishing aspects in Warframe and had a lot of fun discovering how each of them worked! Took me a long part of the evening doing so.

  During the day however I finished the Tower of Heaven arc of Fairy and begun the Battle of Fairy Tail one. I do love the suspense of each one and how it is quite fast paced unlike most shonens, it helps to not be tired of watching it.

  In friday I went out to get some gifts for christmas and then I mostly played Warframe and games before I fell asleep. I also received stuff for myself that I will mention later.

  That’s all there is to say about these days!

• Diary 014: 16th December

  Well the day was mostly grim due to the past day’s events. Happily enough my friends showed that they were here to comfort it the way they can and I feel a tad better by the time I write this.

  I was very busy setting up my wishlists once again due to most things being unable to be ordered for christmas since last week. It took me a loooong time to browse and list things all over again.

  To be able to relax, I watched a nice slice of life show set in a camping. Very positive things especially with that sad weather outside.

  Bit by bit, my packages for christmas are being delivered so that is going pretty well and reassuring me.

  Music is so incredible due to all the effects they can have on the mind, doesn’t it? Yet in talent shows, people hate them for not being visually powerful enough against magic tricks or acrobatics. Talent should be judged equally as long as it is done well.

• Diary 013: 15th December

  That day was horrible for reasons I won’t discuss. Happily enough, I had lots of playing Warframe before things went south.

  I mainly focused in the open world areas of the game and unlocked access to the shops so I will be able to fish hunt and mine for rewards next time. Most of my time was spent on the Plains of Eidolon.

  I also unlocked an hoverboard lookalike during the quests! You cannot attack on it but you can do tricks and go faster. It is fun!

  Pretty satisfied from that huge gaming session! Aside of that I watched some shows, including random episides of Gotham, yet another thing featuring Batman, this time only as a young Bruce Wayne.

• Diary 012: 14th December

  The week started off pretty casually. A bit of TV there and gaming.

  My ability to think things through made me do some nice discoveries on Warframe. Using one of Ember’s abilities does not cost any energy at all without enemies around, which allows you to effectively farm xp without doing nothing. A very few documentation was made about it actually.

  I also took off some time to watch Markiplier playing the Fnaf Fan game The Joy Of Creation. It is very much well done but the jumpscares look a bit too short and since the game is dark, they blend with the background a bit too much.

  The weather gets colder around here and we started to use the heater by now. At least it is still manageable.

  With that said, I have to take my leave now so have a good day!

• Diary 011: 13th December

  I am vengeance! I am the night! I am… sadly not Batman.

  This sunday was mostly about watching movies and random things.

  As posted in Hobby Logs 002 I used some of my time to sort hobby tools up a little bit.

  In the afternoon I watched Lego Batman The Movie, quite fun while being philosophical, I wanted to watch it since it was announced and used my boredom as a motivation. It was clearly a nice watch.

  At the evening there was Justice League, the pacing looked quite slow but it did show how some characters were in the earlier years of their career as heroes. I spotted a Rick and Morty reference too! The action looked alright but not over the top so I can see why others aren’t too amazed about it.

  At any rate, that was all for this week. Only two more before christmas!

• Hobby Logs 002: Sorting the paints

  I used some time to look and put most of my paints together in one place.

  I cannot say that I am really motivated to paint yet, but I am still proud that there are easy to pick up from cases instead of in a bag and about everywhere in my room.

  Progress is still progress.

• Diary 010: 12th December

  This saturday there was the Pokemon Go community day! With one single lure lasting 3 hours, I was able to catch no less than nine shinies!

  Also I am late to the party but I did not expect Sephiroth in Smash at all. Unlike some other questionnable choice, this one is quite good and made most fans happy for once! For me, too many single third parties look odd because it is only the main heroic character taken and not a vilain, while for most first party games we manage to have at least one duo.

  For example, Samus got Dark Samus and Ridley. Fox and Falco had Wolf. Zelda and Link got Ganon. Pit got Dark Pit and so on. A crossover with only heroes and no vilains rarely make any sense after all.

  TV wise I listened to a music show that lasted a lot, it was a nice change and relaxing to the ears.

  Aside of that, the usual.

• Diary 009: 11th December

  Probably the last day spent on looking for christmas gifts actively. It takes a lot of time and it is tiring.

  I sadly do not have much to say today. I watched a new gameshow involving zombies and trials. It was fun and pretty well done. The concept was not original but hey, aside of mini games there is so much you can do.

  Oh yeah I started to watch Fnaf 4 again as I said I would. Made some progress on Warframe too.

  Here, people will be forbidden to go out during new year’s evening, that will teach them. So many people just think that they are beyond the laws or do not care about paying a fee for disrespectfing them. It is sad to see how chaotic it has become.

  Just being lazy doing nothing is good sometimes!

• Diary 008: 10th December

  Finally a day going well despite me not having gotten much sleep.

  I was able to finish watching both Fnaf 2 and 3 and will attack Fnaf 4 tomorrow. It is sad how the third one fails to be as scary as the others in SOME ways.

  The 2nd Lord of the Rings aired today and I pretty much loved it wholly! Less lore as the first but way more action. I cannot wait to see the third one next week.

  I keep enjoying Warframe and made a lot of progress today, unlocking no fewer than two new planets to fight on.

  Right before I was typing this, I also watched Star vs Wild with Michael B. Jordan. It is good to see someone ambitious and being very human at heart and down to Earth.

  Still did not receive my package yet. I might receive my orders for christmas even before at this rate… As long as it eventually arrives I am fine with that.

• Hobby Logs 001: New Plague Marine

  I was able to pick up my free Plague Marine at the shop. It’s my first one using a Great Plague Clever.

  The goofy helmet contrasts with how strong he looks and I like it well.

  I will post the rest of my latest built models on a later date.

• Diary 007: 9th December

  Well today was awful. I spent a lot of time waiting at shops and for finding my card. At least I won’t need to go out for a while.

  I began to watch the Fnaf videos of Markiplier in chronological order to spend time. I am currently at Fnaf 2. Still gives me creeps after more than half a decade.

  This evening, I am watching Rush Hour 2 starring Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker. Action mixed with comedy is always great to watch.

  I was able to order more gifts for christmas so I have nearly nothing left to worry about.

  Right now, all I want to do is to chill before I sleep and so I will.

• Diary 006: 8th December

  Friendship is a mutual feeling. One cannot be seen as a friend if they do not care and act considerate about you. That was a friendly reminder.

  Today was mostly composed of playing Warframe after downloading it all night while watching Christmas movies.

  Still waiting for an order since the 18th though and it is starting to get boring.

  At any rate, Fire Emblem Heroes Book 5 started off neatly!

• Diary 005: 7th December

  When I said that I hope this week will go better, it was a prediction, not just a wish.

  I finally fought back my fear from the horror game, thanks to watching Markiplier at the same time.

  For gachas, I did well and made sure to do as much as I could today. I am going to reach some of my objectives soon enough as new updates come soon. The hype is there.

  Between downloads and Overwatch, I have been playing Fate Extella as Astolfo, Nero and Jeanne, which I hope to receive her figure I ordered soon.

  New kinds of articles focusing on specific things spark in my mind but I might need some help for those.

• Corrin and her candles

  With winter coming on its way, candles are a cheap way to heat up one’s home. Corrin is always found on the table near them and she looks so adorable along with their lights so I ought to post some pictures of it.

• Diary 004: 5-6th December

  Nothing much happened this week-end actually. I was mostly sleeping through it.

  Yesterday, I mostly played a bit of Overwatch and watched more videos of Fnaf from Markiplier as I did gacha things on my phone.

  Today, I attempted to play a horror game I did in the past and chickened out. I watched Goldfinger on the TV and that was it.

  Sooo in the end I will just play more Overwatch for the night to console myself.

• Diary 003: 4th December

  Today was horrible. Less than three hours of troubled sleep. I barely was able to stay awake and thus I did not do much today.

  For the main part, I settled and watched Markiplier playing Fnaf: Help Wanted. I also learned he is in a hospital currently, not the first time it happens though so no worries to have. The playthrough was interesting and gave me a few spooks, but I would not go out of my way and play a VR Horror game like he did.

  Some Hololive vines and other memes did manage to get me to laugh today when I needed to wake up a bit from my sleepy lazy state.

  My luck on mobile games has been great though. So that’s that until tomorrow.

• Diary 002: 3rd December

  One of our past presidents passed away last night, at least it was good to see that some politicians were widely loved and managed to do positive things compared to people like Trump who only redid old barricades instead of building a whole wall like he so promised.

  As for Fairy Tail I am halfway through the Tower of Heaven arc, I finished the video game on my switch so I know its outcome. While it serves as a huge backstory for Erza, I prefer the previous arc for now. It is cool to see how the world building is nicely done though.

  On another note I rewatched some older Rick and Morty episides including the Pickle Rick one. While psychiatrists are parodied in it, therapy indeed helps and a good therapist will always find good ways to show you the way to improve. We do see later on that said therapy does help the characters in the long run.

  Finally after browsing for christmas gift ideas, I watched Lord of the Rings on the tv this evening while looking for the tabletop rules for it. It is highly probable for me to end up buying the starter set in the next year, probably. It is well written but a bit hard to follow with all the races and sub factions, it is just sad that you need to dig on your own to understand the settings more.

• Diary 001: 2nd December

  Today I spent my whole time watching the Phantom Lord Arc of Fairy Tail.

  It is funny how people made me hate this anime by focusing only on the ecchi aspects of the show when it conveys a lot of positive values related to bonds you share with people. Nice to see that you should not judge a book by a cover someone showed you and to make your opinion by yourself.

  Sadly, Fairy Tail figures aren’t numerous despite how the show worked and all the fanservice around it.
