Installation Tutorial Video Edition:

• 1.“Developer Mode Required” pop-up when starting Application?

  • If your device has been upgraded to iOS16, please go to Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down to Developer Mode to activate it, and restart your device. Your application should start normally after restarting your device.

• 2.Which system version does Sideloadly support?

  • ➜Sideloadly should work on Windows 7, 8, 10 & 11. For the best results, Windows 10 or higher is suggested. ➜Sideloadly should work on macOS 10.12 Sierra and higher. For the best results, macOS Catalina, Big Sur, Monterey & higher is suggested.

• 3.Sideloadly does not show my device?

  • ➜ If this happens, try rebooting your PC, open up iTunes while your device is connected & make sure you tap on 'Trust' from the popup on your iDevice. Then open Sideloadly. If this does not help, connect your device and make sure it is recognized by your PC/iTunes then open Sideloadly. You can also try completely uninstalling then reinstalling iTunes. Also, make sure you are using the web version of iTunes.

• 4.Do I need to jailbreak my device if I'm installing a "signed" app?

  • ➜No. Jailbreaking is not required no matter if you are using a licensed verification or personal Apple ID verification

• 5.Do I need to turn off two-factor authentication for the Apple ID I'm using to "sign in?"

  • ➜No. No matter if two-factor authentication is turned on or not for an Apple ID, both can be used to "sign" and open an IPA file. The only difference is that when using an Apple ID with two-factor authentication turned on, it will be required for you to undergo verification for the first time which won't be required afterwards.

• 6.How long does a "signature" last?

  • ➜The effectiveness of an IPA file opened using a licensed "signature" depends on the validity of the licensed "signature." If the license is revoked, you won't be able to open your app. Which is otherwise referred to as "losing your signature." An IPA file opened using a personal Apple ID is valid for 7 days.

• 7.How many apps can I download?

  • ➜iOS 7, 8, 9: You can sideload as many apps as you like on your device. However your free developer account has limitations. On iOS 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and higher, you can only have 3 sideloaded apps installed on your device at the same time.

• 8.Below are some possible issues that players may encounter and possible solutions

  • 1) Sideloadly can not read your iDevice Please check to see if iTunes is downloaded and installed and can connect to your iDevice. If unable to connect, please refer to Apple’s iTunes connection guide or attempt to reinstall iTunes (non-Microsoft version) 2) Error Message: Login failed (-22406): Your Apple ID or password is incorrect. - Check to see if your Apple ID and Password are correct - Attempt to log in once again - Use a different Apple ID to log in - Use a different device to install Sideloadly and log in 3) Error Message: Login Failed (-36607): Unable to sign you in to your Apple ID. Please try again later. - Please continue to input your password until able to enter the Apple verification code - Use a different Apple ID or change your password - Uninstall and reinstall the IPA tool - Please wait a couple of minutes before attempting to install again
- Prepare two different IPA files. After failing to install Game A, there is a chance for Game B to install successfully 4) Error Message: Call to np_client_new failed: NP_E_CONN_FAILED” error Please make sure that Apple iTunes (non-official version) is properly installed. After installation, connect and sync your iDevice with iTunes. Once complete, proceed to use Sideloadly to install once again.
