Several homes lost their roofs and experienced other severe damage as wild weather hit the city on Wednesday afternoon. Footage shows the ‘tornado’ starting at City Beach Oval before moving through the suburb, taking trees and roofs with it. It’s understood one family has been left without a roof on their multi-million dollar home. Nobody was injured in the freak weather event. Perth can expect a relatively calm Thursday, with a maximum of 14°C and partly cloudy conditions.
