Also, please note that during the summer operating period, if tickets are sold out through advance reservations (online), tickets will not be sold on the day.

In case of a magnitude 3 earthquake... We will be closed for the entire day on the day the earthquake occurs.
In case of an earthquake of magnitude 4 or above, the business will be closed for the entire day.
* Operations will resume once safety inspections are completed and it is deemed safe.
 
To reserve a boat, you can either ① make an online reservation or ② make a reservation on the day .
Reservations can be made online between two weeks and two days before the boarding date.
*During peak periods, there may be days when same-day tickets are not sold. For details, please check the information posted up to two days before the event. The availability of same-day tickets may change without notice.

① Online reservation
Reservation period: From 9:00 two weeks before the scheduled boarding date to 9:00 two days before (reservation period is subject to change).
*We do not have a waiting list for cancellations.
・Internet reservations require advance payment (credit card payment only). Please see the reservation site homepage for information on accepted cards.

② Same-day reservations: The number of same-day tickets available will vary depending on the online reservation status.
- The number of same-day tickets will be updated above after the reservation deadline.
*Reservations cannot be made over the phone. (Please purchase tickets on the day at the venue.)

August reservation only: August 1st to August 31st
September reservation only: Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and the 22nd (Tuesday)
Reservation-only days in October: Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays *October 8th is a scheduled day for a regular safety inspection.

Reservations can be made both online and on the day at the boat rental reception desk located in Takachiho GorgeNo. 1 Oshioi Parking Lot .
After checking in, you will be taken to the boat rental dock.

*There is no dedicated parking lot for Takachiho Gorge Rental Boat, so please allow yourself plenty of time.
Additionally, parking spaces cannot be reserved.

In rainy weather, you can enjoy renting a boat while wearing a raincoat or umbrella.
Boat drivers will be required to wear raincoats.
Raincoats (200 yen) are available for purchase at the boat rental reception.

*The facility will be closed if the river floods due to rain or other reasons.
In addition, if the river floods due to rain or other reasons during business hours, we may have to suspend operations at short notice.
*Safety inspections may be conducted suddenly during the rainy season or after typhoons have passed.
*Please note that if an earthquake of magnitude 3 or higher occurs in Takachiho Town, boat rental services will be suspended to ensure safety.

1. Operation of the boat is limited to junior high school students and above.
2. Pets and large luggage are not allowed.
3. To prevent any danger while on board, the following actions are strictly prohibited:
・Standing up ・Changing rowers ・Drinking alcohol or smoking
4. Please wear your life jacket correctly and follow the instructions of the staff.
*If you do not comply with the rules, you may be asked to disembark, regardless of the reason.
1. Please do not enter the waterfall area of Manai Falls. Life jackets will automatically inflate when wet with the gas inside. If the life jacket is activated, a cylinder replacement fee of 3,000 yen will be charged.
2. Even if you do not use the service at the boarding time after the reservation, the fee will not be refunded. *The boarding time cannot be changed.
3. If there is a possibility of danger due to a natural disaster or other reason, we will ask you to disembark immediately and suspend operations.
4. We are not responsible for any injuries or accidents that occur during use, whether they are self-inflicted or caused by other people.

 

*There is no parking lot exclusively for rental boats.
Also, we do not make parking reservations.
