I used to post all my UTAU stuff on YouTube until the ID stuff came about. Not giving those suckers my ID at all if they flag me, an adult, as a minor, just for the interests I have. On Youtube i cleared the history and then i was watching tax videos but I dont know if they'll flag me for the videos i cleared from my history... Although Dailymotion has a limited selection, that doesn't stop me from adding more UTAU stuff to the platform!!! Screw you, youtube, and hello dailymotion!!!!!! :)

Am I the only one having this issue every time I search for anything? It comes up with "Well, you've got us there We couldn't find anything for "searched video name"? Is there a fix? This happens about every week or so.. and for around 24+ hours at a time. I can't search for anything at all.

My internet connection was all good and browser and everything else is up to date i contact also the replied but didn't solve anything.

So I know the Roku Dailymotion app is supposedly dead but I'm seeing this here?

All it shows me is Sidemen videos though, and the search doesn't even work on anything else. I'm not a Sidemen fan...

Plus when I try to rate the show it crashes so there's that

So I’ve never used Dailymotion and have been researching slightly to see if it’s safe and virus free and I wanted to come on here and ask people who have personally used it. Is it truly safe? Specifically the website? There is parts of a show that was uploaded there and I’m curious. Thanks :)

Help please, all of my dailymotion playlists are not showing up on the site/app, but still show as being there when I go to add a video to a Playlist, what gives?

on my mom's phone as well as mine, dailymotion has not worked!!! it keeps saying dailymotion cannot be reached and I have not clue why. Does anyone know what's wrong and how to fix this?

The past few videos I've uploaded to DailyMotion... oddly enough, all have been RE3 Remake videos... the videos have been unwatchable on both the Video Editor and the main Video Player. All that happens is I get a playback error and a random Error ID (because it changes every time I try to play one of my videos).

They also don't process in HD and stay in 360 only. Not even 480p, and no 720p or 1060p.

I can watch the videos in Chrome, but again the quality stays in 360p. I cannot watch the videos in Opera or Brave as it just gives me an error.

All of my videos fall within the size and length limits, so that cannot be an issue.

I've emailed DailyMotion support, they replied the next day. I replied and haven't heard back for 20 days (I've updated my ticket just now saying I'm STILL having problems).

Between DailyMotion making my videos unwatchable, and BitChute still having that pathetic Video Stuck in Processing problem that they STILL haven't fixed, therefore ALSO making my videos unwatchable, YouTube is once again looking like the better of 3 evils.

Oh, by the way... of course the ADVERTS still play on my videos fine, but not the videos themselves. Well done DailyMotion, looking out for your creators aren't ya?

Hello, I have a YouTube channel, that is fairly popular around 10,000 subscribers. I started to upload a couple videos to Dailymotion. Would it be worth my while to have someone narrate them in french and then upload them to Dailymotion? Right now I uploaded them in English, but as Dailymotion is a French website, would it be worth my while view wise? Thank you.

One pro of the app is multiplayer outside the app without paying.

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone has uploaded there videos to Dailymotion, and how their experience was? Anyone know what the ad revenue is like? Is it similar to YouTube's at a 55/45 split?

I suggest adding a five-second grace period and the ability to deactivate automatically jumping to the next video, both of which are features YouTube already has.

The quick jump to the next video (usually that GRANDBLEU CINECONCERT video) is annoying.

I would appreciate it if it were fixed.

YouTube allows playing all uploads of a channel in a playlist, and also allows searching through videos of a specific channel.

The latter is already possible through the Dailymotion API, but I suggest making it possible through the channel page itself for convenience.

I could download videos up to recently but now no downloader site works. I found a similar thread that had the same problem and someones solution was jdownloader2 but it says my laptop doesn't even meet the system requirements (and my laptop isn't old)

So does anyone know of any ways to download dailymotion videos that they've used recently?

I was downloading episodes fine for a couple of months now using online downloading sites but now for some reason nothing works, is it happening to anyone else ? Or any suggestions on how to possibly fix it?

If you're familiar with YouTube - and you probably are - the staff is on some BS right now. With COPPA in effect, YouTube might come to an end. I decided to move to Dailymotion. When I try to watch something, I have a blank page. Has anyone the same problem?

I can't edit my video details until after the video is uploaded, I can't upload a custom thumbnail, I can't add tags, and I can't even add a profile picture for my account. Granted, it's been a LONG time since I used this site, but have things really gotten this bad in the past year?

YouTube's video player offers the ability to acces loop playback by right-clicking into the video player.

It would be great if Dailymotion offered this ability in the option menu and via URL parameter for the embedded player.

and if I try to watch some long videos like "mayday alarm im cockpit" on the phone, the video just stuck. very often. very often after playing for 4 seconds. 5G wifi 450 Mbit and also on LTE it just stuck. I cant watch this kind of videos with pleasure.

There was an update to the dailymotion app on my Xbox One console and since the update the ‘playlists’ button doesn’t show any playlists in the search like it used to.

I'm trying to watch a series on Dailymotion using the ps4 navigator (my only option to watch it on a big screen) but even when I click on 480p it goes back to 380p

Anyone know why? Is this a glitch in the site? Is this Dailymotion not liking my videos? Is it a purge of the system? Because I uploaded hundreds of short videos over the last few years & now they're off the site. I have back-ups of them, thankfully, & they're on my YouTube channel, but this is extremely odd. I had a few videos months back that got blacklisted too & Dailymotion's support were absolutely no help, even though they've been extremely helpful with other stuff I've had problems with. I need answers.

Dailymotion already has this option on their embedded player, but not the desktop website.

It can be annoying if Dailymotion automatically jumps to playing the next video immediately after the current one has finished playing.

YouTube allows users to deactivate autoplay, and also is equipped with a 5-Second grace period after the current video has finished.

I mean I can live with 2-3 15-30 second ads per video but this site has ads every 5 minutes and it’s usually 2 30 second ones which wouldn’t be so bad if there was a skip option which there isn’t. In fact the only reason I use dailymotion is because that’s the only site that I can watch Australian survivor

The Dailymotion uploader's edit button does nothing.

One can upload videos by waiting until the upload has finished, then manually navigate to the video's edit page, select a category and click save.

This is very inconvenient and discouraging.

Has anyone else noticed it?

I encourage Dailymotion to fix it.

Are they still updating things? I wanted to move my videos here but hot damn, the update limites are so bad and stressful to deal..

If they invest in something that would help people migrate their videos from youtube to their website it would benefit them so much, it makes me wonder why they haven't done that already.

Is there a place where i can follow the updates from the site? I'm planning on moving my videos as soon as they take out those updates limites.. Yeah, i'm not holding my breath.

Watching videos on this site to gets to sleep is great but no matter what I'm watching the next video is always a really loud Shaq video that wakes me up every time

Same with the option to comment on videos. You already have console integration, pretty all game creators want to interact with their audience, and you’re not giving them the tools to do so

So, i'll be moving my videos from Youtube to Dailymotion because of youtube monetization rule, for now i'm fine because the size of the videos the videoder is downloading is really small, but the videos of gameplay i record mostly end up with 8gb or more, and i need to reduce these to at least 2gb to upload it to dailymotion. Can someone recommend one that doesn't screw the quality too much?

Also, can someone tell me if they are ever going to get hid of those limitations? i don't mind uploading less than 10 videos a day but 120 minutes per day and 2gb size limit are really annoying..

Layout really needs redesign. Similar to YouTube. Really want to somehow get Dailymotion to get back in the game, but they seem dead. Do they have an active support team?

Ive tried to upload video to daily motion and add tags but the adding of tags is not working. The video uploads without a problem and i can publish it, but when I try to add tags, the site accepts them but not saves them when I save the edit. What am I doing wrong?

Whenever I upload it to dailymotion, it's 380p. How Do I get it to 1080 or even 720?

do your videos have to be earning many views for a long time to earn more? I have been getting at least 1000 views the last week but the most I've got is 14 cents, and I have monetisation enabled on every video

At last 3 times this month I will check partner HQ and on a certain day it will show at least 500 or so views, then the next day it goes down to 0. This has happened 3 times this month already, anyone know why that is?

Please provide adequate instructions for locating the "age-gate" settings in your help center.

The instructions there are useless and essentially function to absolve yourself of all reliability without being useful at all. It also doesn't help that you rearranged your website and no help videos or online advice is accurate anymore. If you want people to use your service, make an effort to make it usable. As it stands your service is completely useless to me since your help center sucks.

Nobody, not even the uploader of the video is able to see how often the video has been liked.

Apparently, the like feature is only meant for bookmarking. Or is it for anything else?

I use Dailymotion to upload backups of my YouTube videos so they are accessible in case YouTube is down or my channel is somehow unavailable.

I have found out that the “Edit and publish” button of the uploader does absolutely nothing except turning the cursor into the hand with the pointing finger when hovering above it.

The only way to publish videos is to wait for the uploader to finish and then open the video and click on edit (or copy the video URL to clipboard and add “/edit/” before the video ID).

The video ID is only known after upload has finished: The video title turns into a hyperlink inside the uploader.

But am I doing anything wrong?

So I've been using dailymotion for a few months, mostly to watch full episodes of TV shows.

The other day I go to the website and my profile picture is a random picture of me. It is an old facebook profile pic that was deleted years ago.

And I'm not sure how they found it.

Has this happened to anyone else?
