Hey there guys! Would you believe how much time military service plus unannounced family visits cut down on dev time?

Yeah...anyways, hope you're still well fed from last patch, cus this next one is a lil' on the lighter side.

-Added a way for people that have "finished the game" to temporarily continue playing the game! Go out there and experience that wacky side content you missed! Once the next part of the main quest is out, this option will be removed. (At that point, if you used this option, just return to the City of Falling Vine to progress again.)

-Added the art for the Kusogaki Onyx TF

-Viviane got her content expanded with plenty of lewd scenes! Use her lantern to talk to her to initiate it! Oh, and once you have your first tussle with her, she might get frisky on her own, hehehe~

-The game file size has gotten quite a bit bigger due to tons of extra assets added that I'll need for the next few updates.

-Guard now restores a lil' bit of MP, to help with those awkward early game OOM situations

-Slightly reduced the Beasts' stats. Now lvl10 and perfect gear should not be necessary to beat it.

Hello everyone, Kuroko here! Here's a juicy side-content and polish patch for ya! This was supposed to be the June patch, but I just kept on writing, and writing and...yeah, got carried away. But hey, it basically means July will get two patches. Neat huh? Anyways, in this patch, lots of semi-hidden interactions around the maps were added, plus the conclusion of Riza's questline(though not the last planned alraune content...). Plus, you get to adventure with Ghatia again!...well only the Lighthouse for now. But there's a couple of new Ghatia scenes as well so it's an opportunity to view those as well as any missed.

New this patch:

-2 new areas; Alraune Hunting Grounds and Roni's Room

-1 new side-quest; Alraune Research. Initiated by going to the second floor of the Adventurer's Guild(which is now open) after finding a Thorny Greatvine Repellent recipe in the overworld.

-Riza has new art courtesy of BK!

-Revamp of Adventurer's Guild Library; you now get Library and Spell Vouchers by completing relevant quests and can visit the library again to cash them in for spells...speaking of...

-4 NEW spells(plus 2 coded for next patch/hotfix)! 3 via the Library, 1 via TF...so...

-1 new full body TF; Smol Onyx! Acquired via hidden means and questline(ask me if you want to know). [Smol Onyx will have her art added in a hotfix]

-A metric ton of new consumables, weapons and equipment

-A new system for re-distributing your assets(unlocked after Roni's/Alraune questline)

-New lore(is anybody still reading?)

-1 new lewd scene, with optional Ghatia participation(okay, yeah, now you're reading again).

-Speaking of Ghatia, you can talk to him in the Kynemon Village to go explore the south areas with him!

-bug fixes, typos, yadda yadda(I don't keep track of these, I just go so...)

This update is big! The whole introduction and game has been basically reformatted. We have the same characters, and the same main mechanic of investigating, but I have polished the main loop and added a lot of "survival" mechanics (essentially made the bars at the top work :P ).

New Mechanics:

• HP Management! In order to do an investigation, train or work, you will need to have enough HP to do it (About half for investigations/socialising, and 1/4 for training and working).

• To recover HP, you will need to "relax" and do a hobby. There will be different hobbies that scale with different attributes. You start with 1 hobby, for a total of 3 (2 can be unlocked via cards).

• Debt! Beck is knowledgeable of your situation... and she will take advantage of it. Every week you will need to pay her a certain amount of money or suffer the consequences. This will increase every chapter (every time you fulfill the Mastermind section). Failure to do so will have consequences!

• Job Minigames! In order to pay your debt, you will need to work. There are 2 current jobs: cashier and maid (the later is unlockable), each has a minigame attached to them. Do good in those minigames, and you will earn more money! Additionally, certain jobs will reward you extra money if your skills are high enough (Wink increase heels for the maid job Wink).

• Character images! Beck, Winston, and a new face, Charlie, now have visible images!

• New Intro and TFs! The intro from the game, as well as the TFs have been changed. The introduction now introduces the protagonist and the 3 main side characters. The initial transformations have been scrapped and the new TFs are meant to be slower. So now, breasts go to A cup to B cup, instead of going directly to C cup. And similar to the other changes. So now there's double more TFs!

• Automatic Unlockable cards! Not every card has to be picked (I decided to add main mechanics this way). As a teaser, you can unlock the maid job after missing a payment, you unlock the Charisma/Stamina hobbies by having it high enough, and you unlock "a way to manage arousal" by having high arousal. No need to pick these cards, so if you want to play strategically, you can.

• Bigger punishments! Added events that will lower your skills. The old ones are still there, and you receive a bigger punishment/lesser reward for achieving them. AND there are un skippable events that punish you severly (but you get a sexy scene from it, so give and take).

• New artist! In addition to Ryusuke and Potato, there's a new artist we will be collaborating with (in the same way as with Ryusuke): LJ Comics Twitter / Patreon

• Just because I investigated this: The game currently has 27k words, if you care about that metric (unsure if the script I used is good or not... I asked Chat GPT to do it)

One question I have: Are the rate of transformations enough? Should it be once a week, twice a week, or give the option to the player?

And... we are finished!! All scenes, all images... and even a little bit more. It's done! A 2-year endeavor has drawn to a close.

I wrote the game when I was feeling down and having constant panic attacks that life (and myself...) was throwing at me. But thankfully, I do feel a lot better now. But the game now stands as a testament/mark of how I felt in those moments. Hopefully no one will have to feel this way, but if you do, know that you are not alone.

I think there are enough changes that warrants their own post. I balanced Eve, Bennet and Otis. While Bennet and Otis received straight buffs (Bennet is sturdier, Otis hits more, also sturdier), Eve has received a lot of buffs, BUT cannot use a sword anymore.

We also polished chapter 8-2, gave a more clear description and made it more clear what to do.
