I feel like most people came from kiwifarms actually, and that's why so many of them are cancer (this is coming from someone who partially came from kiwifarms btw. I only rarely used /qa/ on 4cuck and didn't decide to check out the sharty until I saw it had gotten its own kiwifarms thread.)
basically every facet of "revised sharty culture" that's killing our site can be pinpointed to there. kiwifarms users do nothing but obsess over literal whos, bitch about trannies, and write long, overly-detailed paragraphs about snca (like this one. reminder I also came from kiwifarms geg.)
their culture is largely against most forms of raiding aside from doxxing (which explains why raids that don't involve doxxing have become more rare), heavily prudent (which explains the purity spiral) but tolerant of most forms of troonslop (explains why the term "tranime", as well as much of the hatred directed towards NAS like 'zellig, is dying. also explains why furshit and ponyshit is NOT gaining acceptance, since most kiwifarms users still do hate furfags and bronies), and it also borrows from 4cuck culture in some ways, for example, they are hostile towards new users (which explains the death of the term newGOD and the embracing of the term nusoi) and zoomers (explains why a lot of the site now want it to be 18+, whereas at one point it was largely accepted and embraced that most 'teens were underage)
I think what tipped me off to this was checking the shiwi for the first time since 2023 a couple weeks ago, and realizing that instead of being full of kiwifarms users that dislike us (they used to think we were a pedo site) and use the thread to document site drama, it's now just a sharty colony and is home to a few namefags talking about random snca (when I checked they were talking about clash of clans or some shit geg). which indicates to me there is now far more overlap between the two sites than there was when I began using it. I've also begun frequently seeing soyspeak appearing on kiwifarms even outside the sharty thread, and being used by native kiwifarms users.

Something I've noticed about soyteens throughout the years is that they COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN.
