While I could also be that since I'm an expert hater on this series, I'm without a doubt "this opening was really cool but as a game IT SUCKS!" Especially as someone that knows 90% the franchises by now & for my eventual playthrough of Namco X Capcom, I aim to play through that game with 100% knowledge of all the franchises especially when I've beaten Bravoman & Wonder Momo, now there's also Shadowland, Tales of Destiny (that'll be after I beat Tales of Symphonia Dawn of the New World & Phantasia) Klonoa 2 Dream Champ Tournament, Klonoa Heroes & a lot more I can list but let's just say I aim to go big on my Namco X Capcom journey which is needed since it's the final boss of my Monolith Soft ranking

Y'know Star Gladiator/Plasma Sword casually has time travel in this story & I'm not talking about through just Hayato & June's future daughter, Ele, I'm also talking about Black Hayato casually chilling in a bar through Gantetsu's ending or maybe this is one of the game's crazy alter realities where instead of Black Hayato being an alternate version of him being mind controlled by Bilstein, this one is a clone rather I mean after all, Bilstein did decided he needed multiple Shakers since one wasn't enough even tho in one reality, it was his downfall

videogamerzero1So I finally beaten Plasma Sword aka Star Gladiator 2 with every character & man this is easily like some of Capcom's best fighting games besides Rival Schools/Project Justice, Darkstalkers, Power Stone & Cyberbots, while it may seem like a heavily Star Wars inspired fighting game managed to form its own identity & what we got is an interesting deviation from the likes of Tekken & Soul Calibur as this impressive hybrid of a 3D fighting game that has 2D fighting game tech such as supers, air dashing & instal activations alongside the story being mega all over the place & I mean that in the best way possible as it's kinda like a precursor to what Blazblue eventually do later on only more crazier but yeah Plasma Sword is easily like in my Top 10 fighting games of all time as it'll be sharing the same spot with the previously mentioned Capcom games & will do everything I can to get more people to play this game#star gladiator#plasma sword#rival schools#project justice#darkstalkers#power stone#cyberbots#capcom#star wars#tekken#soul calibur#blazblue

videogamerzero1Alright I think Blood/Shaker from Star Gladiator/Plasma Sword might be a main of mine as I really love how Blood is kinda like the precursor to Starkiller from Force Unleashed in that he too was also mind control under Bilstein eventually breaking free & knows that he can't be forgiven but is why he's determined to stop Bilstein even at the cost of his life, much like all the stories I've heard regarding Starkiller, heck you can say he's like a parallel to Hayato that didn't escape Bilstein's torture until he finally did & now wants to make sure no one else suffers the same way he & other victims did & then you got Shaker where I really enjoy that he's like Lord Raptor from Darkstalkers that Bilstein made clones of, which is weird but hey gotta build your huge army of universal conquest by any means necessary & I say Shaker is like Lord Raptor because not only does his win quotes mention playing a guitar, in his ending he forms a band with all his clones after not knowing who's the original plus I love how Shaker has supers based on the fact he's a cyborg with a mega punch arm & a machine gun inside said arm that also has funnels from Gundam that I love how I can combo this into!#star gladiator#plasma sword#blood barbarians#shaker#edward bilstein#hayato kanzaki#darkstalkers#lord raptor#capcom#star wars#star wars the force unleashed#starkiller#gundam

videogamerzero1I've beaten Bravoman & that was a really neat game, it is a bit like Mega Man in a way but instead of jump & shooting, you're jump & punching plus kicking thanks to Bravoman being the video game equilvant of Mr. Fantastic/Plastic Man besides the duo of Top Hunter: Roddy & Cathy, a slept on title that I'm glad to beaten even gotten a bit emotional when Bravoman & his family thanks you the player for beating the game, that shows how much life a game can bring with something this small even if it can get pretty hard, not Ghost n Goblins difficult but it can really troll you on stuff you think is the end but leaves you unprepared but I'm glad to experience a pretty slept on game for a slept on system being the Turbo Grafx-16 & I especially appreciate it more thanks to experiencing Bravoman through the short lived web series by ShiftyLook & they really studied a lot about this one game that translated really well in a parody show especially given how Dr. Bomb the guy you think was your typical mad scientist actually did crime due to his wife dying & that got a huge laugh out of me around the end but yeah Bravoman is a slept on game#bravoman#namco#shiftylook#mega man#megaman#ghost n goblins#mr. fantastic#plastic man#top hunter roddy & cathy#turbo grafx-16
