So the post about Fairy Leviathan being allowed to cause chaos, and the posts about how the treatment of female characters in the fandom isn't always great reminded me: in my MMX Role swap au I swapped Alia with Gate and I have no plans to include who swapped with Sigma in the X6 stuff since he doesn't die as much, so Alia gets to be an evil lady and a more major antagonist than Gate was
Well that could certainly leave room to explore some nice concepts in writing.
I never really thought about making Alia an antagonist since she doesn't particularly strike me that way but I do find what you're going for interesting! And also since this is a swap au.
Also yeah, a good half of mmx games do not Sigma at all. X6 especially

We never got to see much of Fairy Leviathan's attitude as the token evil team mate of the four guardians. I can tell you we only got snippets of it when she threatened to get the pleasure to kill Zero and became obsessed with getting crazy to defeat him in 2, and the time when the missile was launched at Area Zero Fairy Leviathan rubbed it in Zero's face how much it will end badly for him and his allies.
The Megaman Zero audio drama where she is eager to kill resistance soldiers. The silly Megaman Zero manga where Fairy Leviathan is shown more visibly with her sadistic attitude including a scene where she copies Street Fighter Karin's noblewoman's laugh.
In Teppen there is a card of Fairy Leviathan smiling like crazy while spinning her weapon around, showing her womanchild like glee at attacking her adversaries. I did message Ian Flynn by email and his reply confirms that the Bumblecast fans will have to wait and see. Ian Flynn is writing that Megaman Zero comic. We have to see how Ian Flynn writes Fairy Leviathan if that incarnation will retain some bits of her darkside. I would like to see Fairy Leviathan's "Siren" aspect in her title such as Fairy Leviathan using some kind of compelling voice to lure resistance soldiers to their death by her voice and hunting the drowning resistance soldiers underwater mook horror show style.
I recommend looking up Esdeath from that Akame Ga Kill anime as she is essentially what Fairy Leviathan would be if she became an eviler woman ice general.
If I'm being honest the four Guardians never really got to be anything that good ngl. In the Zero they're actually pretty underwhelming........ in my opinion at least.
Like all other characters in the franchise i find the concept and ideas of them better than what we actually get. (I am still mad about their transformations, love Toru Yakama but what the fuck were those designs)
I feel like Leviathan should've been allowed to be more sadistic than murder horny, certainly fits the story better. And I wish they'd gone harder with the elemental aspect of the four Guardians aswell, siren theming for Leviathan woukd been badass ngl.
Also I am very aware of Esdeath and Akame Ga Kill! While the show isn't to my particular taste I can certainly see the connect one vould make between Fairy Leviathan and Esdeath
