4 🇨🇳 nationals have been arrested on charges of breaking into high-end homes in Pak Kret, Thailand, and stealing valuables worth at least 1.6 million baht from safes. The arrests followed a burglary reported by a Canadian woman living in a luxury housing estate in Nonthaburi on the outskirts of Bangkok, on July 30. The four suspects were arrested at about 10.30am on Aug 5 at a rented house in Lat Krabang, Bangkok, by Pak Kret, Nonthaburi and Provincial Police Region 1 officers.  The 🇨🇳 men broke into the Canadian woman’s house on July 26 when she’s away on her 10-day vacation on Koh Samui. The heist wasn’t discovered until after the homeowner returned from her vacation on July 30. Police tracked down and arrested the Chinese suspects using CCTV footage that captured their escape route. The men fled on motorcycles, switching vehicles midway as they made their way home. Officers seized some of the missing cash in various currencies, two TAG Heuer watches, documents, as well as tools like power drills, ladders, ropes and cutters believed to have been used by the burglary gang. The suspects: Liu Laixiang, Ya Zujiang, Li Fei, and Wei Qingyou. bangkokpost.com/thailand/gener
