Greets him as an old acquaintance even though he knew him as a family friends servant his entire childhood? And he obviously isn't used to Al as a 'social equal' and yet is treating him fairly friendly even in such a distracted state; one might assume either assume this attitude (be it in regards to servants in general or just Al) as natural to him as panic or Henry had an impact on his perception?
