Earth

Earth was a 16 year old male orca who lived at the Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium. He was born at Kamogawa Sea World on October 13, 2008. His mother is Lovey and his father is Oscar. He passed away on August 3, 2025.

On July 19, 2012, Earth became a big brother when his mom gave birth to his sister Luna. After she was born he showed a lot of interest in her. The two often played together, but being larger, Earth would sometimes play too rough with his little sister. Lovey would displace him for this and eventually he was spending more time in the back pool away from Lovey, Lara and Luna.

On December 7, 2015, Earth was moved to Port of Nagoya where he joined his grandmother Stella and aunt Lynn. He can often be seen in the aquarium's shows. He was separated from Stella and Lynn, sometimes for extended amounts of time. When they were grouped together, Earth and Lynn were in shows more often. In March 2024, Stella was moved to Kobe Suma Sea World. After Stella moved, Earth and Lynn were normally together.

Earth started showing signs of illness in early August 2025. He stopped eating and lacked energy. He was moved to the medical pool where vets tried treating him, but he passed away on August 3rd.
