Seriously doe, assuming the games end up running at a half-decent framerate, it's basically over for Playstation and Xbox. Xbox is already being phased out with the whole "cloud gaming" thing being done instead and the fact that Windows now can play a huge portion of Xbox games officially too. Playstation probably has a PS6 and *maybe* PS7 left in them, but otherwise, the console war titles go to Nintendo because they kinda just stuck to their own thing and didn't port all their games to other platforms, well that and they have an army of consoooooming soyllenials which still have 20 to 60 years of life left in them.
I suspect that in 20 years, it will just be PC, Nintendo, and Streaming. Should things become more of a "you vill own nothing und be happy", this is very likely, and perhaps, it will be even more narrowed down for normals, as they will likely just stream games onto a laptop, phone, or TV instead of playing them on a proper desktop. Nintendo would never port their games to PC though, they make too much money sticking to first party to ever do that, GEG.
