It is Wild Watching People Use ChatGPT — Not Realising What is Coming
Humans are the next horse
In the 19th century, New York City alone had over 100,000 horses.
Horses weren’t a hobby. They were the engine of society.
Transport, agriculture, war, communication — everything ran on literally horsepower.
But there was a problem.
They produced so much manure that “manure crisis” was a legit urban planning issue.
In 1885, Karl Benz built the first car — a three-wheeler with a tiny engine.
At first, people laughed at it.
They were noisy, clunky, and unreliable.
Early cars were prone to stalling and breaking down easily. We needed gasoline, which was hard to obtain at that time.
People laughed.
“Why would anyone give up their reliable horse?”
“Look at this man, he is riding the noisy junk!”
“No way I am gonna trade my horse for that crap?”
But soon… the engine got better. Faster. Cheaper.
And people shifted to cars.
Soon after, cities didn’t smell like shit anymore.
