With regard to manufacturing, the concept of Industry 4.0 has been established to guide the industrial revolution with smart and autonomous systems fuelled by data and machine learning. [1], [2] When we lift the focus on general business operations, we would like to wonder what the next big step after business intelligence and decision support systems would be.
